Round robin story #1 - Commentary

Yes, I left things vague in my last post deliberately. Maybe he saw a book lying out on a table? Maybe he saw something reflect the light where it shouldn't? Maybe he saw a giant bug-eyed monster that wants to eat him?!

*cough*

Anyway, I hope that some other people post soon. The story's just barely getting started, essentially; if this were a real book, we'd be in Chapter 2.

If I may spark a little debate... what do you think of the Round Robin story so far?

Do you feel that the contributors have been making the effort worth it?
Do you want to contribute but aren't sure how?
What could be done to improve things?

I like the story, but I *did* post the last update...

Anyway... generally speaking, it seems like everyone is really trying to put something into the tale. The very fact that Alex hasn't been 'ka-girled' yet suggests at least a desire to make the change unique and really interesting.

Either that, or a series of writer's blocks about any big changes...

As far as improving... we could employ an Improfanfic system of signing up for a post and posting by some set date/time. Hard to say how well that'd work here, though... we seem to have issues with attention spans.

Since I posted just before you, I've held off posting again until I can be sure everyone who might have wanted to post has had the oportunity. That and I'm waiting for inspiration to strike.

Signups might work, but we're likely to get frequent skips that way... I skipped both of the parts I signed up for on Improfanfic, I'm sorry to say, and didn't sign up for any other ones because I couldn't trust myself.
