Conducting a Random Survey for its own sake

Yeah, my first-ever poll, by the way.

Caused by random IRC chatting, of course.

Well, I signed up for the forums in 2008, but I first found the site and started lurking about a year before that, so... Four years, I guess?

March, 2010, on a trip to GDC, when Sophia linked me here.

Back in 2008, I was bored. Really bored. Previously I'd told some people at Fukufics that I wouldn't be coming here---the things I'd heard about MSF scared me to some degree---but then... and I can't recall the reason for this... activities at Fukufics, primarily at Spamville, dropped to a minimum (thinking about it as I'm typing this, several people that had previously been active had become more involved with college, work and other issues and couldn't spare the time to post; at least one or two others that I knew were simply posting more at MSF than at Fukufics). I'd needed a way to pass the time.

I at first signed in as ZapanaZquor during the spring of that year, but I chickened out, forgot my password and never used that account (and those that know me would probably say that it was for the best). A few months later I became brave enough to try again, this time with my current account. I've been here off and on ever since.

Been a while for me! About six years or so, methinks. Wandered in due to an art contest and never wandered out again.

^^ Longer then I thought, now that you mention it, since 2006.

Been a little over two years. Was bored and looking around some TG stuff online, found a link to here, found some of the old stuff online like the Changing Room and such, and then searched out the forums not too long afterward.

COMRADE MUSA!!!!

*Gives a GIGANTIC HUG to Musa!*

I HAVE MISSED YOU!

Also, Frater, I've been on the boards longer. Nyeh!

Zilla, being a newbie isn't bad. It just means most people underestimate what you're capable of.

It's kinda funny how many 'older' members of the board have replied as opposed to newer people. I guess my name scared them off.

*sadface.*

Depends on where it is. If it's someplace like Battle.Net, you're liable to get booted out of a game even if you have several years experience. -_-
