How many meals do you usually have each day?

Since food (or the lack of it, rather) is almost always an issue nowadays, well...

For me, it's enough snacks to stay alive, with the sporadic meal. What could be put together as meals are spread out as snacks most of the time, such as making one meal each day for five days stretch for two weeks as snacks. Usually hungry, but not keeling over. Well, there's something to be said about a distinct lack of energy, but eh.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner: the three most important meals of the day. However---and this is the reason why I land in the "morbidly obese" category---I have an incessant urge for snacks. Doritos, ice cream, cookies, brownies, soda pop, those Hershey-esque Reese's bars that they sell at gas stations... it's a rare day when I don't eat anything after dinner (although I try to drink plenty of water to balance it out some).

Two or three meals a day, with no snacks. I often intentionally skip breakfast if I sleep through it, starting my day with lunch. Mostly because I'm loathe to eat most breakfast foods.

However, if I do wake up early enough, I will have a meager breakfast to get me going and hold me over to lunch, which is when I'll get a decent meal in.

Sounds more to me like lunch becomes breakfast, in that case. :)

I hate the idea of missing meals. If I wake up at say, 10a.m., I'll still have myself a banana or some cereal and orange juice even if it means that I'll be having a bologna sandwich in just a few short hours. I don't skip breakfast unless I have a good reason for it (like, say, a doctor's appointment). Of course, some would say that it's part of the reason why I'm hefty, but hey.

Since my sleep schedule is destroyed entirely (posting this at 4 am), I have no regular clock by which to set meals by.

As such, I end up with at least 2 random meals throughout the day, usually one about an hour after I wake up, and then another one a few hours after that.

And I snack on stuff, now and then, usually crackers or pocky or the like.

Breakfast is breakfast, lunch is lunch. :P

I'm very particular about what foods I think are appropriate for a given part of the day, and even 'brunch' is a stretch for me, most of the time. but yeah, I just don't enjoy most breakfast foods. Cereals, eggs, omelets, toast, grits, etc just aren't that appetizing to me.
