Chicago or Boston?

For once I gave myself an easy answer! :O

It's Boston, for me. It's hard for me to pick any one band above all others, but Boston certainly qualifies when I try to think of one. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I grew up listening to Boston. :P

Here're a few examples from these bands, for those who might not be familiar with one band and/or the other:

Chicago 1

Chicago 2

Chicago 3

Boston 1

Boston 2

Boston 3

It's been such a long time since I participated in a poll, figued I may as well chime in. Boston kicks butt. So much more than Chicago.

Me, I love Chicago. Heck, I went to a concert of theirs a few years ago! It was fantastic. To be honest, I've never even heard of a band called Boston before today.

I've heard of Chicago, but not Boston. I have to say don't like either.

Haven't heard of Boston? But they only had one of the most awesome debut albums ever! :O

And Boston had a tea party! What does Chicago have? Wind? P.U. :P

Yeah! Boston is wicked good. ^^

And even if I didn't live here, I'd have to say the same thing. Chicago just can't hold a candle to the awesomeness of Boston. I'm shocked that people haven't heard of them. I figured More than a Feeling was played commonly enough on the radio that people would at least know that one.

25 or 6 to 4 is the best 60's ever period!

Even my school band plays it : D

But the song came out in 1970. :O

Anyway, the other reason for why I like Boston... It's not just their unique sound, but the fact that the sound is all natural. No synthesizers or computers, from what I understand. (But I could be wrong. It's been so long that I don't even know where that information came from. <_<; ) What you hear on the album is more or less what you'll hear live.

Too often my innocent ears have been scarred by the live performance of certain bands. X_X (Including Led Zeppelin.)

I like a few songs from Chicago, but I like far more from Boston. Besides, Chicago doesn't have this song. :P

I'm too intimidated to click either of the links. Particularly since it's late at night and there are other people in this house. :P
