All the time on this forum and on IRC I meet many foreigners. So I thought about gathering a general census of who comes from where. As for me, I am 75% Yankee. The other 25% coming from Japanese grandmother

My grandparents are all from Central America, so technically I'm latino, but I consider myself pure US blood.

Born and raised in NJ and damn proud of it.

I am American, mexican, French...

U.S. native with a variety of background ethnicities, predominantly German and Russian.

...German, irish, mexican. I said Maxican twice didn't I.

I am Irish.

My family is Heinz, you know, 57 varieties. They're all mutts hehe. (That's an old family joke.) If I weren't adopted I would be too. Nothing wrong with that. (You can tell I'm tired, I'm babbling now.)

As for background ethnicities, I'm part Russian and I believe part Polish too.

Technically? USA, of course. Otherwise I don't associate myself with any nation. Born in Connecticut, raised in New York, deep fried in South Carolina. Ha, I made a funny. :O

As far as background goes, I know that my Greek greatgrandfather and grandfather, on my mother's side, immigrated to America. I'm unsure about everything else, but it seems that the runners up may be German and Welsh.

First Canadian to vote, and hey look the ratio is 8:1 right now just as it should be. Of course those other countries are a bit underrepresented, but I've never really believed Australia existed anyways. Jumping mammals with their kids in pouches? I think not ;p.

My father's father's father's father's father was Scottish, but the rest o' me ancesters were Irish.

And since Canada is such a small place, if you need to know precisely where I live it's Nova Scotia. Long live the East coast! I can eat lobster whenever I want and at a price comparable to beef! GWhahahaha!
