(To be replaced someday)
Name: Marin (formerly Maero)
Gender: Female (formerly Male)
Age: 28
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 160 lbs (formerly 260 lbs)
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue

Appearance:
Marin is, first and foremost, a very athletically-built woman. From several kinds of activities all of her body has become physically toned and conditioned for most activities, including several high-stress kinds of combat and escape. Her black hair reaches down to the base of her neck, has enough blue dye to cause a gradient effect at the ends of her hair (black at the root, blue at the end, fading between), and is most commonly kept in a ponytail behind her head for practical purposes. Her clothing varies from the daily task, but most commonly includes a black undershirt and bike shorts, blue jean short shorts, blue jean full vest, black shin-high socks and steel-toed boots, and a pair of black fingerless gloves. This is adorned by one piece of jewelry she wears: a stainless steel necklace with a winged-sword pendant of the same material. On occasion she is also known to wear blackout shades.

Skills:
Marin is highly skilled in combat and strategic/tactical thinking, thanks to her advanced military training. Being on the streets has dulled that somewhat, but she is otherwise in excellent condition to do what is necessary in a fight. She owns and is equipped to use any of the following, even if she does not carry them on her person at that moment: combat knives, handguns, sub-machine guns, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, heavy weapons, and hand grenades. Her martial art skills are synonymous with those of military heritage and is capable of handling herself in a hand-to-hand fight, as well. Her people skills, however, are highly malnourished and she is thus more likely to offend somebody at random than create the perfect apology letter.

Background:
Marin was originally born Maero in the city of Jurica to unknown parents (or so the claim states). The city of Jurica at that time was fairly peaceful, but economic troubles were starting to form. Maero was fortunate enough to avoid most of the strife as he was adopted and raised outside the city, though he frequently went into it. He joined the military at the age of seventeen and received advanced training as a Specialist before being honorably discharged at the age of 22. Upon his return to Jurica, though, he found the city well into a state of decay: drugs on the streets, violent crime on the rise, rampant gambling, and an inefficient police force unable to combat these things. Out of work and unable to find his adoptive family Maero was forced to take the streets and survive like the rest of the poor souls. After nine months of street survival, however, he had made enough friends that he formed a gang to better survive the city's perils, calling them the Jurica Knights.

Over the course of three years the gang held its own until his 25th birthday, at which point a surprise police raid captured the entire gang and sent them to prison. En route, however, a rival gang attacked the prison convoy and killed everybody on board save Maero (who suffered extensive third degree burns and was rendered comatose). He was promptly hospitalized and put into intensive care and was deemed beyond total recovery. Experimental surgeries were performed, however, that gave him a mostly successful recovery. The catch: his body could never be functionally male, so he was hospitally declared female and given all the work to make him a complete woman over the course of a year. Thus Marin was (unofficially) born.

Once Marin was given a clean bill of health and sent to prison properly she spent the next year surviving a world that tried three times as hard to put her six feet under. Given her gang know-how and military training, however, she was more than capable of surviving her incarceration. During a prison riot she took the opportunity to escape imprisonment and return to the city where she was able to successfully blend back into the crowd. Given her experiences she had long since become disillusioned with the potential of goodness in people and began reforming her beliefs to take advantage of the city. Her specific activities over the last ten months are unknown except that she is moving to recreate the Jurica Knights. Her agenda is otherwise unknown.

Marin's Crib

Postby Marin » Wed Mar 24, 2010 2:55 am

Marin's Crib is a Penthouse-level Mega-Condominium located in the "prime" section of the city of Jurica. As part of the building it has direct access to the underground garage via elevator and also has exclusive access to a helicopter pad on the rooftop of the building. The Crib itself is, as mentioned, a very large condominium specifically remodeled to Marin's taste. The interior design is fashioned after Ultra-Modern architecture and design styles, with a dominant color scheme of blue and black. The entire apartment is well-lit, soundproofed between rooms and from the rest of the world, and floored with cream carpet. It is separated into two floors and has an overall split with a North side and a South side.

The North side is primarily an entrance and entertainment space consisting of the small parlor, the large main room, the "BOSS ONLY" room, and the three exits. The small parlor has a grand piano situated in the middle, complete with professional piano player, and is surrounded by comfortable chairs and end tables along the walls. The main room itself is a spacious room taking up forty percent of the Crib space. Within the main room is a spiral staircase leading up to the overlook of the room (which is the only access to the helipad and elevator exits), a wraparound indoor pool hugging the north and northwestern walls, a full bar on the eastern wall, and a home theater with a 100-inch plasma TV and appropriate surround sound. The rest of the room is open floor with couches positioned against the wall (although there is a single stripper pole located by the bar).

The first exit is the elevator, located on the second-floor overlook, leading straight to ground floor and accessible only with a barcoded keycard. The first exit is the elevator, leading straight to ground floor and accessible only with a barcoded keycard. The second exit, located ten feet away from the elevator, is the door that leads to the private helipad (and is sufficiently soundproofed with the rest of the Crib). The third exit, on the lower level, simply leads to a 10x10 balcony with some chairs and a "scenic" overlook of Jurica. The one door that leads to the "BOSS ONLY" room is literally labeled as such, leaving the room itself a mystery.

The South side is primarily the "residential" side of the Crib, the lower level being dedicated to a kitchen and adjacent dining area and the upper level consisting of five bedrooms. The kitchen itself is a full kitchen complete with an island located in the middle, cooking utensils, two refrigerators, a freezer, and all the dishes and silverware a small clan could hope for--of course there is enough food for a small army, too! One counter of the kitchen serves as a serving counter with six stools on the outside, marking the final boundary between the main room and the kitchen. Located next to the kitchen is the dining area, which simply consists of a long wood table with matching chairs capable of seating sixteen individuals total.

Located between the two areas is another spiral staircase that leads to the bedrooms hallway, giving access to five bedrooms. The four "uniform" bedrooms are identical, if mirrored: queen-sized beds, walk-in closets, two night tables, and a vanity table/mirror. Connected between each pair of bedrooms is a shared bathrooms with deep bathtub and shower head, full counter and mirror, toilet, bidet, and a little extra space for a stripper pole. Of course there are also towels and robes, too. The master bedroom, on the other hand, is also unknown because nobody except Marin sleeps there. Judging from the remaining space it must be significantly large.

The Jurica Knights Gang

Postby Marin » Wed Mar 24, 2010 11:54 pm

Statistics:
0 Lieutenant(s)
106 Grunt Members
15 Vehicles
$20,000 worth of guns
$53,000 pooled cash
2 Hideouts

Characteristics:
Every member of the Jurica Knights Gang, whether male or female, is at least eighteen years old, has some knowledge (or experience) of prison conditions, and wears a mixture of blue and black clothes. Every member bears at least one tattoo job, which is given a calligraphy signature of "JK" in a manner that is unmistakable to anybody.

The members of the gang, when not on foot, are driving around the city of Jurica in four-door sedans with reinforced bumbers, leather seating, and blue undercarriage lights. While this is not always the most stealthy approach it is pretty pimped.

All members are trained to operate under the police "radar," though in all other aspects they're your common gangbangers who push drugs, violence, and other usually-illegal goods and services. Their most recent signature product, as well as their bases of operation, are still not discovered.
