Caprice

Gah! It's a high-powered metamorphing green gelatinous blob! Or maybe it's something else. Who's your character? Post here!

Caprice

Sunday, April the first 2007.

In the ever-silly confines of the Muffin Room, a force of boring, headed by SweetSpohia swept into a topic for the purpose of April Fools! Unbeknownst to her though, her initiative attracted attention of another--a leader of an advanced scout troop, and definitely not a silly joke stolen from Monty Python. Perish the thought.
No--the being she attracted was none other then

Colonel Mundane.
Image
Not a huge amount about the Colonel is actually known, but, a member of the Beige Order--a powerful force from a distant land, dedicated to the eradication of silliness, in all of its myriad forms, and to establish 'Complete Order'. Not amenable to counter-arguments or the like, Mundane used his powers of funicide, (a liquid that kills fun on contact) and, more often then not, a whacking cane, to try and beat the zaniness out of the Muffin Room.
...
Needless to say, he failed. After a day or so of wantonly calling people out for their inanity, a bite to he noggin from an errant zombie Nikkou infected him with the very thing he hated the most--pure silly! With a quick twist of false logic, his consciousness was pushed to the back of his mind--and a new being was formed--

Caprice

Image
Originally Caprice was, in a way, Mundane's polar opposite--whereas he was focused and stern she was bubbly and random, speaking in a cheerful violet color. As time went on though, she started to become increasingly ditzy and airheaded, to a baffling extent, almost. Her ditziness, inconsistent memory, and love of cute things became quite noteworthy.
Quickly recruited into the Brotherhood--an obsolete organization bent on destroying the Sisterhood, and raising the level of nearby spam--she became a personal minion to the mazoku Himitsu, but rose quickly through the ranks of spammer and Spammastery, as well as, (thanks to Snow Dragon's scheming) becoming married to the mazoku in question, and eventually becoming the much-contested leader-for-life of the Brotherhood when the dragon left for parts unknown.
Around the same time as her recruitment, Caprice also began to accrue other important interpersonal relationships, the most important of which, perhaps, was her gaining of a sister--in-all-but-blood by the name of Rowan--together they gathered many more siblings, including Mendokusee, Mid-Boss and Mithrexis, and, based off of Caprice's voice color and personality, Rowan formed Violet Energy.
As time went on, various silly events went on on the Muffin Continent, and Caprice eventually found herself in charge of a ninja village, she was recruited into modhood, (becoming an Excordis, and changing to look like the picture above), adopted--without permission--the zombie, Shadell, had her brain removed (by the same zombie. She didn't notice, really)...and accumulated a variety of silly items and skills, which included...
Nova Flare: A high-powered spell that creates gouts of flame going every which way!
Digu Volt: Another dangerous spell, that fires a bolt of high-powered warp lightning at the target.
High-level sword-mastery~!
Th ability to manifest low-level warp fields.
A laptop connected to the chaos network. It has a USB cord that, when inserted into the ear of an amnesiac or the like, can rewrite minds.
Ignorance shield: Protects her...usually...from things that see does not understand.
Divorce shield: Foils any and all plots to end her marriage with Himitsu! May also stop other nearby divorces as a side-effect.
Stringyportation--that is, movement through space via applied string theory/quantum tunneling.
the DarkRune and LightGlyph: Twin broadswords that mirror each other in power and abilities, these items are not only terribly heavy sharp and indestructible, but have great innate power of Warp and Reverse, that is wonderful for channeling spells through, as well as their own special attacks...not that Caprice utilizes these much.
Caprice's box: Stolen from Raleigh, this box seems to now contain Caprice's mindscape within it, in a very real and physical sense. It is a wild and chaotic place, mostly held together by...

Entropy

A thin, black-haired woman that generally wears a dark green suit of armor when seen outside of the box, and more casual, nondescript clothes when within, Entropy is, to put it simply, Caprice's 'Magical-girl' form. Created when Coyolxauhqui gave Caprice a jade lozenge, Entropy was the second of many personalities to crowd into Mundane's former mind. Though quite intelligent, Entropy loathes to be called out into the world by Caprice, (Which she can do simply by calling her name). Instead, she hangs about in the mindspace that is the box, and keeps things...stable. Usually. When she has to fight, she wields a heavy staff, and has a variety of techniques that center around nonviolent solutions--generally, draining the energy of all in the area. Entropy, it has been noted, is exceptionally boring. It may just be her compensating though, to not be overly influenced by Caprice's strong personality. Her job of keeping things together is made more difficult though, by the way that things seem to be drawn into Caprice's mind like flies to honey. The next of which is...

The Relentless
Image
Being, technically, Colonel Mundane still, Caprice kept a few important bits of the man's identity for a time--the most important of which perhaps, was a Swiss army knife with a satellite linkup to the Beige Order. In combination with Mundane's serial numbers, this could call down a fearsome mech suit that was used for enforcement. Swift and powerful, the AI would latch into the mind of the user while under use, for quick and efficient movement and coordination. Unfortunately, after a prolonged battle with Snow Dragon over the life of Rowan, Caprice, in the Relentless, was smashed violently into a lake, leaving the AI partially still attached to Caprice, via a spinal cord connection. Though severely damaged, it eventually formed in her mind in a similar way to Entropy, thanks to the odd properties of the lozenge--on occasion when tricked into saying the word 'Relentless', Caprice's consciousness will give way to the fractured and violent AI, and she will manipulate Spammerspace to summon weapons KOS-MOS style. Sometimes, she will in addition, go partially cybernetic, as the AI attempts to assert itself.
Next up, is...

Sanguna
Image
Sanguna is the product of Caprice being exposed to Orange energy--and it shows. Her camera always around her neck, and her trusty chainsaw at the ready, Sanguna is, in her mind at least--an artist. More to the point though, she also believes that the only pure art, is art that involves murder...or possibly suicide, when she eventually is about to shuffle off this mortal coil.
Using orange energy, she has been known to harness it's innate violent properties to up the effectiveness of her weaponry, as well as form temporary knives when her chainsaw is out of commission. In addition, she can attach a thin, but strong cord to use her weaponry as makeshift flails. Sanguna is quite taken with Shadell, or 'Dell-chan'. Opposite, perhaps, to Sanguna, is....

Capra-chan
Caprice under the influence of red energy! A little girl obsessed with justice, Capra is filled with vim vigor and spirit, often a bit too much. If there is no threat in the area, she will find someone to suspect as one!
Capra is fairly intelligent for one so young, but does not have an awful lot in the way of powers.
Capra-chan is not often let out into the open, for what ever reason. The same goes for...

Caorazilla
...Who has a silly name, but is stuck with it, for the moment.
An azure-skinned Kaiju-girl, she is the result of blue energy. Granted both the abilities of a classic giant monster--regeneration, atomic fire breath, super strength, etc, she also has impressive psychic abilities, and has a nasty habit of using people as her 'puppets'. She is quite intelligent, but has urges to rampage at random. Darn Kaiju blood.

Every so often, a crisis of minds occur--where Caprice is finally driven beyond the reaches of sanity, and even Entropy cannot keep things balanced. Usually she goes off the deep end and, for a time, makes very little sense, until someone stuffs a tomapple in her mouth to put Caprice back on top...but occasionally, a union will occur, and a final persona comes forth--

Amalia
Image
Obsessed with her leadership of the Brotherhood, Amalia is war-crazed paranoid, expansionist fanatic--and in her mind, anyone not with her, is against her. That being said...she also can, at least to an extent, harness the powers and abilities of all the other personalities which makes her extremely dangerous.
Azer at one point claimed to be her mother, as the cause of a crisis, but has not followed through.

Not another personality insomuch as an odd variant, is
Princess Leprenia
Image
Technically Caprice, Leprenia is the result of her being turned into a copy of Lelouch Vi Brittania, and then Tg'd, before being dumped into Aoi, where she was adapted into the royal family. She is compelled to act at least vaguely like a princess, but still has a razor-sharp intellect, and a Geass that turns people into...random characters from Code Geass.
