Hmm.... I think time consuming is all there is when you're working with paint. Though, I've found it helps to make a 16 color copy of the original work before I start with most things. From there it's easier. Jpegs often make every pixel a different color, rendering several of paints better features useless. With less different colors it becomes possible to shave off some time using the paint bucket or the color replacement erasor. If you want to recover old color data you can just use the dropper to get skin tones and the like back from the original photo.
Then again, I don't do all that much work, (This ava is one of the few pics I've changed) so I'm not really an expert. And paint is a microsoft program, and therefore generally obnoxious.
Hmm.... Does anyone actually read these anyway?
