Oh, there was nothing wrong with your writing, trust me. It just sounded more like the start of a roleplay, you know? I think people didn't know quite what to do with it. The Muffin room is more freewheeling and random, for the most part. That, and maybe all the text was a bit intimidating to some. But go look- I do believe you have finally attracted a couple responses.

Yay! *smiles* It's seems I'm off to an okay start after all! At least... I hope I am. I'll try to make it less prose-heavy... I guess I had a little trouble telling the difference between the muffin room and a roleplay...

Well, Muffin is sort of like a roleplay, only without the rules. One moment people could be roleplaying, and the next they could be having a discussion, and then, too, they could just be bouncing off of the walls like lunatics. It has its uses.

That actually sounds fun! I mean... in a silly kind-of way... then again... I guess that fits rather nicely, so...

I can see why. The lines seem to blur a lot, especially with so many people so focused on maintaining a "character" and so forth. And you write as much as you need to write. I'm just saying it might have made some people blink, that's all.... Never fear, though, I read it all! And posted, though it looks as though my presence has not been noticed in any way, shape, or form.

Yes, it does. You won't believe how fast this place can move, sometimes.... That's one of the reasons I haven't been spending much time in there, until more recently. I just haven't been able to keep up. The trick is to pick just a couple threads you like and stick with those, instead of trying to post in every single one. Just do the best you can in regard to responses; you don't need to reply to every single person. In some cases, a collective response will do.

How can I respond to all of them at once?

You imagine that each person is in a different dimension and respond to them accordingly. That way you'll be able to respond to them at the same time. If they start to talk to and effect each other, as if they're in the same dimension, just do that nodding and smiling thing I mentioned earlier.
