Cool. And, Niles is basically just across the border from South Bend, Indiana. I only went up there once, back about 10 years ago, now, and went to Benton Harbor...or whatever that place is called. Benton Harbor sounds right, though...

And now you're in Kansas? Are you in a more rural area than I am, even?! :P

Didn't see the opening video. Pretty much, my friend and I got there, went through the line for Registration, then headed straight to the dealers room. We walked around the main room for a while till I found that there were three other rooms. (The Dealer rooms that is)

I'm really pissed that I missed such a large gathering of MSFers. >_<

Hopefully AWA may produce different results.

Next time though I'm going to need like some sorta meeting time or something. :/

What time did you go through The Line? Odds are, you might have seen me running crowd control at the main doors of the Student Union. And yes, I was wearing my vest then.

Only person I saw running crowd control was that woman in the grey shirt. The one who frankly was getting on my nerves with her "Up against the wall!" yells.

We went through the line around 10am. Don't know the exact time. Ever since I lost my cell phone (it was out of service anyway) I haven't had a watch anymore.

I don't know if it's more rural, but the "smell of the country" still permeates the air sometimes thanks to all the surrounding farmland (yuck); it's in south-central Kansas, around an hour or so away from the Oklahoma border. I've never really gotten used to calling it home.

Ah. Well, I kinda said words to that effect, but I at least explained why. I don't think you saw me unless you went through the main doors between 12 and 2:30.

Hmm, good point. We have some farmland around here, but we have a lot of small, wooded areas. Here is where I live. Small town, very small town. XD

...Yeah...that is a very small town. :o

Tennessee was actually one of the places where my Dad tried to find a job (well, that and Arizona, which I don't think I'd be able to stand); the headquarters of Dollar General, I think it was, had a programming position open but ultimately turned him down. After about 5-6 months and almost all of our finances later, we wound up here.

I'd probably like it a bit more if the county had a few more wooded areas (not that there aren't any; I've seen the occasional deer wandering around some miles away). I'm not complaining, though. :)

And, compare that to where Knoxville is, and you see the distance I'm going to be traveling again Saturday. XD

Yeah, I don't think I could stand being in Kansas. I've got to have just more than one tree per 100 yards. :P

 True, there aren't a lot of trees outside of town. It's not completely clear, though, and the landscape isn't as flat as people seem to think it is. Some of the scenes I've seen driving have been awesome.

...Although my favorite scene in Kansas isn't a landscape scene, but a BBQ joint I saw once when we were driving by. Kind of makes me think that the cows intend to fight back...

Haha! That's hilarious! I think I've got something better...in an e-mail, about a restaurant from my county. Got to find the pic sometime...amongst my...28 pages...of e-mail. O.o...dangit. I'm gonna be searching a while. >.<

Well, some people finally nagged me into posting a picture of myself here. They know who they are.

But I showed them! I wore my genie costume!

I Dream of Mischa!

Ha!
