New Computer Freshness

So I just got a new computer yesterday, and I just hooked it up a few moments ago. It's weird and foreign, but in a good way.

Windows 7 and a larger screen resolution is going to take a bit to get used to. XD

What OS did you came off from before?

Window 7 takes some getting use to but it is great to use in comparison to Vista and XP. Boy I hated Vista. It slowed down my laptop like heck.

The previous one I had was XP.

Definitely different compared to that. XD

Yeah it is. Though if you want my definition of 7 then I would say that it is the idea of functionality of XP but with a Vista wrapper. Which means that it lacks all the horrors and pains that Vista had but looks pretty. haha

I need a new computer, this one's starting to get old and moldy and I should get a different one before it starts to smell.
...No wait that's the bread in my fridge.

Yeah, you may want to deal with that bread. :P

It didn't take all that long for me to get used to Windows 7. Though it was like a bit 'holy jeez' factor at first with a few things. XD

It's weird, I've always hear such bad things about windows 7 that I've never thought of touching it. This is why I've always stick to Windows XP and OSX. Did they do something different with the 7 OS that I haven't heard of? Is it good?

It runs pretty smoothly from my experience, and looks nice as well. I have a lappy that's too old for 7, and runs on XP, and I can switch between my two computers' OSes almost seamlessly. It's really what Vista should've been to begin with- a graphical and function improvement over XP, I think.

Neither have I, and the computer I just ordered, that will be here next Tuesday, at the earliest, at least right now, has Windows 7 Home Premium on it...and, well, let's just say, I wasn't going back to Vista. *shudders*

I have had 7 since it came out and I love it. Much better over Vista. To tell the truth as soon as I could get 7 I went to install it on to my laptop that has Vista on it. I had to do a clean installation and lost all the stuff on my laptop so there was no turning back but well worth it.

As Aeris said, 7 is everything that Vista should have been. It runs smoothly and looks good.
