It'd be cheaper to arm Macgyver with duct tape.

Seriously, though. I doubt it'd work all that well unless we signed on people from countries where a million US dollars would make them princes. The bounty costs would probably be too high for Americans, considering the risk factor and resources one would need to get the job done.

It'd be funny if a faction of Somalian pirates broke away for the bounty.

Eh...he's marginalized enough in politics that his tirades are simply amusing to me. He would have made an absolutely brilliant politician 200 years ago.

I could say a lot of things about politics, but I think it's simpler to just say that it's dumb and detrimental. Not that humanity can do better, but eh. Lost cause.

The closest thing America has to a Ninja is a Navy Seal.

And they have proven to work quite well againced pirates.

Actually, Marines work pretty **** well. It's even mentioned in the Hymn: "From the shores of Tripoli..." It's reference to the Marines 'subduing' the Barbary Pirates in one of their earliest campaigns/battles.
