What did you get for Christmas?

I wasn't expecting anything from my family for Christmas because they have been helping me financially while I'm job hunting, but I never ever expected what my mom got me, my brother and sister, brand new dell laptops... and good ones too, she said she came into a little extra money and wanted to share it with us. I'm so exstatic, but I never expected such an amazing gift, this is making it one of the best Christmas gifts ever, I got online, and now I have a laptop (with a working screen) so now I can get online anywheres!!!

I gots nothing, and like usual I don't expect to get anything. Christmas is a family and friend-oriented holiday, two things I lack, so... Yeah.

Congrats on your laptop, though. If you want to give me a gift, try to be around more often so I can drive you up the Great Wall of China. ;p

Congratulations! I haven't opened gifts from family yet (we're waiting for my brother and sister in law to arrive), but gifts from friends have included a volume of Grimm's fairy tales (I'm really hoping it proves to be the unedited pre-Victorian versions of the tales) and a copy of the Sims 2 for my computer.

Well I got some socks, flannel Pajamas, a Toby Keith CD, A nice Winter Coat. A nice shirt from my sister, An Air Force Academy Cap from my brother, A nice Jersey from my Aunt and Uncle, A stocking Cap, some Dots, A couple of Rave Movie Tickets. I had a pretty decent Christmas. I also got a Bears Wind Breaker type thing. Merry Christmas to everyone.

My BIG presents for this year would happen to be these:
Nvidia 9600 GT graphics card for my computer which I have installed and is full of yummy awesome.
Sony Walkman 8gig mp3/video player and fm radio, it's awesome because it plays a TON of codecs out of the box.
Red Alert 3, the game I've been waiting for literally years, and will be oh so much fun.

There was some other stuff, but those are the big ones for me

its just been such a hectic christmas cause I've been trying to do my family favors for helping me out with food and stuff, I would have never expected anything this Christmas, my family has been so good to me this year.

but I would have never imagined a gift like this, she says she wants us togo to college again now

One sandwich baggie of locally made chocolates (so goooood...)
One grocery bag of canned fruit and jam (homemade)

One day at work
Five too many calls about wireless networks
Two calls from the same customer
Two forward drive gears in my car instead of reverse and neutral
Two times I had to have help pushing my car out of snow banks
One missed Christmas party

And maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll have a friendly chat with the towing company for boxing day. I may or may not be illegally parked.
