Hey, if not for her I might still be using bold as part of my standard writing style, instead of for emphasis. Like this. For several weeks I wrote like this, until she ended my bold tyranny. It's just one of those things, I guess. Besides, before me was Jayme, and before that a mixture of people, including myself.

I'm contemplating showing her avatar of four-plus years ago. I wonder if she remembers it.

4+ years ago seems right. It might not have been that specific picture, but I do know I had a LJ icon made of that character (whoever she is) and may have used it as a forum avatar a bit. It was mostly to tweak at Nina/Akemi a bit as a (then-)Ovalisk avatar, since, as an avatar, it had the text "Hug me?" on it. :p

Now, I went digging on the wayback machine, and found what is one of my first icons. I think, though, it wasn't the first -- I'm pretty sure I used "yume" (dream) rather than "ai" (love) for the first icon, but ... sadly not everything is archived..

I don't remember that text, but the image was unique enough for me to never forget. XD At least I think that a cheerful girl with pink hair, surrounded by stars and, in particular, having this large, shiny star on her collar, is unique. ;p

I wonder if I can find some of my old stuff with the wayback machine. I gave it a try but I had no luck with anything forum-related. Well, if there's a way, my n00bishness won't produce it. ;p I'm not sure what my first avatar was... I was thinking Minku from Dragon Half, but it could have also been Aron or Kara from Phantasy Star 3, or Demi from 4. And showing my shy introduction topic would probably be an amusing sight. *Nod-nods*
