as of right now i am reading a random fma mpreg fanfic on fanfiction.net, its really really interesting, and its out of the area i would normally consider comfortable, so thus, i am slowly covering my brain with scar tissue so i don't have to worry about what the effects of 'teh interwebz' can do to ones mental status anyway, i am derailing.
its actually quite interesting how the author managed to pull it off. but really, i know that it freaks alot of people out, but i was just wondering, since msf is a more...open-minded...community, i was wondering what others thought about this...odd topic.

Despite outside, physical appearances, if there's a womb involved, and the child won't come out of the pooper, I won't consider it male. Otherwise it'd be tricky (and authors probably won't give a good explanation) to have the stomach/intestines/colon also function as a womb. Basically, if it makes sense, I'll be fine with it. I'm not against anything just because it's different. Nothing irrational like that. But I would be for the same reason that I don't like racism: it's stupid and makes no sense.
I'm not interested in male pregnancy, and it's one of the things I've never tried to delve into just so I could have some experience, but I've never teased my sister for reading the stuff. I figure that if others enjoy it, and it bothers me none, then it's fine. I have my own interests to pursue and it'd be idiotic to spend time using some dumb excuse to hate something when I could be loving what I like instead.
Perhaps I'll read something with male pregnancy in it one day, but not today. I'd be hard pressed to find one that makes sense at Fanfiction.net, much less one beyond a plot that has a self-serving purpose for the author (and others like them). Oh, and one that's written well enough to read. ^_^; I don't much get into that kind of fandom; I much prefer something with an interesting plot, even if it's for the intention of such fandom. I place the same requirements on my own interests: TG alone won't mean I'll like something unless there are other things going for the story/manga/anime/et cetera.
