What is a song that when you hear just kind of bums you down or makes you feel at least a little less happy?

This is gonna sound weird, but mine would be the first ending song they had for Inuyasha. I watched it on adult swim I when the credits went on, for some reason I felt really sad. No idea why.

Cry In Sorrow (Final Fantasy 4) always makes me feel horribly depressed. Same with The Bottom Of Night (Chrono Trigger). There are probably others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head...

That one song that has something about "World worth dying for." and "World worth living in..."

Or is it place, and did I get 'in' confused. I don't even know the fraking title! I want to buy it on itunes!

I feel a cutting sadness for the death of a generation's taste in music whenever I hear a rap/hiphop song.

Long live the metal!

When I hear rap, I just cringe at the godawful racket it consists of. :? But seriously, though, sad songs.... "Angel of the Morning" by Merilee Rush often gets me. And "Blowin' In the Wind," by Peter, Paul and Mary. Yes, I like old songs....

Another song that makes me sad is "Yesterday" by The Beatles.

The end music of Lufia 2 makes me cry just thinking about it.

It was inspired by his son's death, of course. Y.Y

How could I forget that one? I can't believe I did.... That song made me cry the first time I heard it. He specifically wrote it as a means of helping himself recover from the grief of that death, and in fact had never planned to release it anywhere. But one day his wife persuaded him to play/sing it for some friends, and they in turn persuaded him to record it officially.
