By and large, yes. If you aren't powerful enough to get their attention why should they bother spending any time on you. However, there are always exceptions based on local culture and sometimes the breed of dragon. Small drakelings for instance will not quite resort to such things.

Oh revenge is still on the table. She tried to force Ellen into something which is the point I'm sore on. That will need to be resolved.

I mistook her for... someone new. Thought she was going... to become one of my disciples, so I tried sweet-talking her... and telling her what she was missing out on if she didn't. *scowls past the pain* ...She asked me if my brain was... in my chest instead of my skull.

...So I stooped down to her level, ruffled her hair a little... and made what I thought was a reasonable offer. I'd forgive her offenses if she joined... my armed forces, or otherwise served my family directly. ...Else I couldn't guarantee her continued existence.

I'll be wanting to talk to that minion by the way assuming they are still alive. *Smiles innocently enough though one gets the distinct impression it is a predatory grin filled with fangs instead.*
