Muffinville Park

[Raleigh]

*The large park like space in town becomes a lot greener and healthier looking over the period of 24 hours. If one looks they will see a very busy Raleigh helping to enrich the earth and set up certain sections that will be used to cultivate new exotic plants for those using the park to enjoy. Currently, however, if one was to visit the park they would find Raleigh sleeping near a copse of trees near the south entrance which isn't too surprising given the new abundance of nature here. He is sleeping as expected on top of a pile of treasure and relics with the occasional small tongue of flame being exhaled.*

*In the background, anyone observant enough will notice Viridi relaxing in one of the trees, following Raleigh's lead if the soft snores are any indication. Ellen is seated beneath another tree, reading one of her comic books and loving the momentary lack of Elk in the area. The maid Claire is sitting on a blanket, enjoying an outdoor lunch and a moment's respite from her work. On the whole, the relaxing atmosphere is welcomed.*

A dude in Kamina-style sunglasses with the kind of haircut that defies physical explanation chooses this moment to go biking through the middle of the park with an air horn in each hand, holding them both high into the air while blasting them for maximum loudness.

...He must not be very bright.

[Raleigh]

*Snorts awake and opens a single glowing slit golden eye upon the biker.* Someone woke me up off schedule. *Starts to stand up and reaches into the pile beneath him pulling out a spear with a bident head.* The last time someone did that I ate them. *Rears back and targets the bike.* Longinus, if you would. *Hurls the spear at the bike at supersonic speeds.*

*Reactions to the disturbance are varied. Viridi can be heard screaming something about worms, rainy days, and giant shoes. Ellen, far too used to Elk's ruckuses, doesn't so much as twitch. Claire falls off her blanket, almost dropping her sandwich in surprise.*

The spear hits its mark easily enough, the bike goes flying into the air and the person formerly on it goes sailing off into the sky, Team Rocket-style. He can be heard shouting "DEAL WITH IIIIIIIIIIIIIIT" on his way out. The air horns flip around in the air for a few seconds before falling toward the ground, buttons down...meaning if not prevented they'll give one final honk due to gravity before clunking harmlessly to the ground.

((I don't know, I felt like something cartoonish and stupid))

*A green slime-like being appears seemingly out of nothing, rapidly slashing at the air horns before they land and causing them to fall apart.*

Ellen: ... *turns a page in her book* ...Tell Viridi I said thanks.

*The creature salutes her, then re-camouflages itself and disappears.*

Well I'm up now. *His treasure pile disappears as does the weapon he used on the motorcycle.* I really wish the information on who made the air horn wasn't protected from me. I'd love to find out who it was and kill them horribly before they ever got the chance. I hate those things.

*Sighs.* Well, back to work I suppose. Time to plant some of those crystal bushes and the sky trees like I said I would. Then time to plant those seeds I got from Whatevr.

Claire: *being close enough to overhear* "Crystal bushes and sky trees," sir? What are those?

[Raleigh]

Crystal bushes is a term for a form of biological crystal that grows in a shape not unlike a small hedge bush. If you are really attentive and good at it they may grow berries which are honestly rather delicious. Downside however is that a human really shouldn't eat too many of them in a day. Two is fine but much more than that and they will have some digestive troubles. Sky trees is a bit more of a catch all term for levitating trees. Anything from the kind that can be seeded in clouds to ones that float on a lump of earth they pull up with them as they grow.

*Sets to planting a few of the aforementioned plants.*

Claire: *interested* If I may, sir, would I be able to procure a few of those bushes to plant back at Circe's Manor?

Sure, I can sell you a few. I'll include some instructions on how to prepare the soil to support them. They need a slightly different ratio of elements in the earth from which they will rise than a normal plant would require.

Claire: *bows* Thank you, sir. I appreciate it.

You are welcome. *Pulls out some instructions and a few seed envelopes.* How many do you need?

Claire: Not too many, sir, just around four or so. *smiles* I feel like they'd make a nice addition to the courtyard.
