[Raleigh]

*Raleigh smiles as he takes in the docks once again and breathes in the sea air.* Ah. Well then, get to work boys. *He calls out to various minions who begin unloading what appears to be a deceptively old style wooden boat. They begin to haul the containers up and into a warehouse nearby stocking it with far more than the boat should be able to hold.* Now which of the abyssal lords was this one in a conflict with again? *Starts looking around the ship at some of the damage it has taken.*

[Raleigh]

*Having finished the earlier job Raleigh enters one of the warehouses.* Victoria, you still here? I have need of the guild's services.

Victoria: Ah, good evening boss. What can we pilfer for you today?

Raleigh: A flute if you would. A most curious one in fact. It has the same effect on those who hear it as the wind in that death valley Naro and Shara had to overcome. Offer a higher commission to whoever takes the job and a boon that they may request.

Victoria: I'll see to it sir. Which universe we taking this from?

Raleigh: Universe 3A3713677, Astral Plane 6, Galaxy Zeta, Solar system Binarus, World 4, Dimensional shift Blue 723alpha. There should be a small antique shop in the country of Beltet in it's capital that plays host to it but the owner is paranoid. Expect traps and possibly cursed artifact interference.

Victoria: Aye sir.

*Raleigh disappears.*

*A previously unseen young woman can be seen sitting on the docks, looking out over the sea wistfully.*

[Raleigh]

*Victoria notices the young girl that is sitting outside and decides to see who she is.* Victoria: Excuse me miss. Do you need any help?

[AmbushCat]

Woman: *shakes her head* No, I'm fine. I'm just... nostalgic.

[Raleigh]

Victoria: Oh? What of?

[AmbushCat]

Woman: *smiles softly, looking completely at peace* I used to be a kraken in these waters, years ago.

[Raleigh]

Victoria: Oh, I think I remember hearing about that. Don't think I ever caught your name though.

[AmbushCat]

Maria Kathleen. It's a pleasure, Miss...?

[Raleigh]

Victoria, Lady Thief. Any way I can help you miss?

[AmbushCat]

Is there anything available around here that would let me regain my old form for a day or so? It's been years since I've visited my folks.

[Raleigh]

Victoria: I do believe there is. If you think you are up for doing something for me I believe I can arrange for you to have something that will let you switch back and forth at will if you would like. Would that work for you?

[AmbushCat]

*thinks it over* That would be appreciated. What do you want me to do?

[Raleigh]

Victoria: Retrieve a flute for me. I can provide you a way to where it is but you'll have to actually go there and retrieve it. It is in a vault that was designed to contain dangerous magical items. In fact, if you manage to acquire anything else in that vault as well I'll see what I can set you up with. If nothing else I'm sure I can get you paid for it.

*looks uncertain* I can try, though I don't know how successful I'll be. I've never tried to steal something before.
