*In one of the various buildings that had been dropped to the planet from the Avatar one can find several different scientist cat girls and succubi designing some exo-suits and a few seem to be rigging together a form of wave guide assembly.* Ah, it is nice to get things up and running. *Rei can be found tending to what appears to be a human eye. She is tinkering with the circuitry inside and occasionally checking the readouts on a computer near her.*

*A telepathic voice reaches Rei while she works, its owner sounding... rather young.*

Voice: --Ancient One, would it be permissible for me to have a word with you in person?--

*Sending a telepathic response back to the caller.* Of course you can. Feel free to pop in as this isn't a sealed zone.

*The caller accepts Rei's invitation, warping into the room in a fading pillar of green light. Pretty much anyone in the room should be able to tell that comparing her power to that of a human is like comparing a boot to an ant, but blazes if she doesn't look cute.*

Viridi: *smiling politely* It's an honor to speak with you again.

I feel the same as well, Viridi. How might I help you? *The seemingly young goddess smiles at her visitor.*

Viridi: In part, I came here for an assurance that your creations here won't cause undue damage to the lands outside the city. And also... it's been a millennium or five since I had a physical body. I figured, "hey, why not walk around and get these cramps out of my system?".

Most likely not. Unless someone attacks me and the blast is large enough anyway. Besides, I can fix anything I wreck if it is a problem. Not like I haven't had to restart universes after some idiot cast ice-9 before. Why do you ask?

Viridi: *looks around a bit anxiously* Promise not to laugh?

If I do, it won't be for malicious reasons. However though, I don't believe I will.

Viridi: ...Alright. Taking a big chance with this one... *takes a deep breath* I let myself be adopted by a silver-tongued, gem-foreheaded cat who thought I was cute enough to warrant being taken into his family, and this after he resurrected me by drawing on what amounts to a whiteboard. *twitches violently; turns and shouts at thin air* I heard that, Ambush! STOP LAUGHING AT ME!

*Nods.* Ambush is pretty good about that sort of thing. I take it you know my godchildren then.

Viridi: *takes a moment to calm down* No... no, I haven't--- *does a double-take* wait, godchildren? She actually chose you to be a godparent? *very much confused* What in my name did I miss?

Probably a lot since some things didn't happen on this planet. I'm a good choice I'll have you know. All my various adopted children have turned out alright as have most of my actual kids.

Still, I don't see why I would laugh at your situation. It sounds like you lucked out to be given a new manifestation.

In this form it is Rei but typically Raleigh would work. I don't know why you would be upset. I've not insulted you nor laughed at your, unfinished I presume, explanation. I'm sure you know that on average, given what I am, I'm more a boon to any planet than a bane by a long shot.
