"Oh, well if the only thing you need is a bunch of mana I have some things left over from when I was a weird half-extant shadow..." Tara pulls out a folded-up square of paper and unfolds it a few times, until an entire end table with a small collection of potions falls out of it onto the roof, miraculously landing so the potions are on the table. "I created a bunch of potions that overflowed people's magic and used the excess to change them and give them various superpowers, but if a person drinks one of these and spends the overflow themselves, well, it should be safe in theory."

Sarrio: *picks up one of the potions, considering it* "Should" be? That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Tara puts up her arms a bit. "Well, it isn't exactly their original purpose, so I'm working on the evidence so far that you're strong enough to override that. Anyway, certainty is boring." She makes an expression as if leaning on her arm on a nearby tall shelf or something, but there's not really anything there to lean on. "You know, I always have a hard time deciding whether to make someone confident things are fine when they're not or give a warning and watch 'em decide to take the risk for themselves."

Sarrio: *sighs deeply* I think you're about to find out.

*With that said, Sarrio opens her mouth (and strangely, her tongue looks like a smaller version of herself) and gulps down the potion. She waits a moment to see if things work the way Tara suggested they would.*

Nadaka starts jumping up and down, getting warmed up for...cheerleading stuff. "Woo! Woo!"

The girl who tried to say hello to Nadaka a moment ago slowly headtilts more and more at this response. "Uh..." ((referring to this post, possibly missed))

The potion Sarrio chose tastes strongly of sharp cheese. Sure enough, to the magically sensitive its first and most obvious effect is an exponentially mounting boost in magical energy in an effort to produce an overflow.

((whoooops yeah I totally missed that somehow XD))

Nadaka finally notices the satyr girl, snapping out of her airheaded state, she stops bouncing and jumping around and looks at the girl. "Oh hello!"

Sarrio: Excellent. This will suffice. Stand back a moment.

*Sarrio waits for Tara to comply, then closes her eyes and holds her arms out to both sides. She begins chanting in her native tongue, shining a brilliant blue. The air in her immediate vicinity trembles with power.*

Sarrio's spell probably isn't strongly affected if she's a halfway competent magic-user, but the potion is "trying" to turn her into a mouse-girl with size changing powers or something.

The satyr-girl says, "Hi. You, uh, usually like that?"

*Sarrio notices the potion's attempts, smiling softly as she finishes chanting.*

Sarrio: *smiles softly* Oh-ho? This should be interesting. Let's see if we can't integrate the two somehow...

((OOC: Before I finish my actions, I have to ask: would it be okay if I tracked down and used an appropriate picture myself? I think this idea has potential. :D))

Tara just crosses her arms and watches with mild interest.

Nadaka cocks her head at the satyr-girl in utter confusion. "Like what?" Her fox ears twitch.

*Sarrio's form wavers, then shifts molecules around over the course of fifteen seconds. At the end of that period, her lower half is still a giant fish monster, but her upper half is that of a mouse girl in a kimono. She takes it in stride.*

*Down on the ground, Nollharn and Kahlio---the harpy and the multi-armed monster, respectively---glow a bright white. With a brilliant flash of light, the both of them transform back to their original selves:

...that of a stoic junior high student and her hyper-enthusiastic catboy brother. The former looks around for a moment, then addresses Ookami.*

Ellen: ... *eyebrow raises* ...You've been Ambushed, yo.

Elk: *raises both arms in the air in celebration* The scythe's been taken, yo!

Ah, I thought you two seemed familiar! So, I guess that's actually Amber up there on the roof?

The satyr sweatdrops slightly. "Um...nevermind. Anyhow, I'm Soja*. You?" She offers a hand to shake again.

"You know, I have so many different comments it's hard to decide what to say--whoops--first," says Tara, leaning over and putting her elbow on the table with the potions, which inadvertently(ha) causes it to flip over and fling the remaining potions out toward the streets below. She straightens up again. "Let's start with--if you actually wanted your kids changed back their true names would've told me their original forms, and that'd be sorted. And then: Do you have new size-changing powers, or is that one of the several things you could already do? And third: Sarrio...I'm trying to work that as some sort of anagram clue but failing."

((*-soft 'j' sound, closer to a "shuh" than a "guh"))
