*Zapana looks up for the first time, giving Ookalf a once-over... then idly backhands the wall she was leaning against. The entire upper half of said wall crumples and collapses inwards, bricks and all.*

*fanged smirk* You sure you're up to the challenge, lightweight? I'm not going to be held responsible if you end up in intensive care.

*A blur of motion off to the sides, then more somewhere overhead. Ten seconds later we have three walls, approximately sixteen rows of seats (with a work crew of felinoids seated here and there), and a fully lighted ceiling. A second's pause, then someone connects a video screen to one wall.*

*Ookalf looks at the arrangements approvingly.* Nice, very nice... *She looks back to Zapana as the wolf asks her question.* Oh, yeah, sure! Say whatever you want!

*Cue the music... at a much louder volume than expected. Zapana immediately slams her hands over her ears, as does most of the audience. The remainder of them start headbanging instead.*

*Whoever it was in charge of the sound system complies, lowering it to a more suitable volume.*

Agh! *Ookalf covers her ears as the music starts blaring out. Once it gets down to a reasonable volume, though, she starts listening and nodding along to the beat.* Oh, yeah, that's pretty good! I can definitely fight to this!

*Grumbling to herself, Zapana nods in reply and reaches up; a microphone lands neatly in her hand.*

*clears her throat* Listen up, every--- ...hold up. *taps the microphone* Is this on?

Hedgehogoid at sound booth: *checks the controls* Should be working fine there, Zippy.

*taps it again* Hello? Polly wanna beatdown? ...It's not on, Socwrath. You sure?

Socwrath: Positive. Power's on, controls are set.

*Zapana frowns and gives the microphone a quick examination. Blinking in realization, she pops open a small compartment... and realizes that there's no batteries in it. One of the ring ropes snaps rather noisily, censoring Zapana's heartfelt obscenity at that precise moment.*
