Another hat--a wizard's hat in particular, tall and conical and blue with yellow stars, comes out from behind something and follows Ambush.

Beats me. I just thought I'd run around here for no good reason.

*Ambush jerks left and right, occasionally picking up his speed just a little, doing everything he can to keep from being hit.*

When at least one shot manages to hit the wizard hat, what's underneath finally comes out from under it--a rather unusually clean-looking rat. It evades that particular shot, squeaking angrily as it continues dodging shots. The demon girl waves. "Hey! Jyrras, you, like, probably don't have anything to worry about, you know! With all the wards and stuff to keep your form the same." The rat stops on top of an umbrella to respond with a few more squeaks, probably just long enough to get hit once.

When at least one shot manages to hit the wizard hat, what's underneath finally comes out from under it--a rather unusually clean-looking rat. It evades that particular shot, squeaking angrily as it continues dodging shots. The demon girl waves. "Hey! Jyrras, you, like, probably don't have anything to worry about, you know! With all the wards and stuff to keep your form the same." The rat stops on top of an umbrella to respond with a few more squeaks, probably just long enough to get hit once.

Well the effect tries to make the poor little rat start to grow out and expand, hindlimbs streatching farther than forelimbs pushing to a more broadly humanoid shape. With that underway he starts to grow in height and fur starts to flake off on all but the top of his head. His face pushes itself in becoming a human face. Before his fur is completely gone, a navy once piece girl's swimsuit forms which oddly gives room for his tail.

His ratly ears pull down the side of his head while maintaining their points they even grow out abit. The last bit of fur on his head becomes raven black and then gushes down his back as a massive mane of hair

His body continues on its path to humanoid shape as claws stretch into fingers and forepaws stretch into feet. Legs fill out.. but not as much as any of the other girls, rather they fill out to a much more youthful set. At this he becomes a she as the changes work their way back up. Her stomach becomes a cute dainty thing and the buds of breasts can be found beneath her suit.

Finally a set of horns forces its way out of the top her head and her tail takes on a matching set of scaley tones leaving her a young demon girl one who doesn't seem to be too happy. It almost looks like she's the bright little sister of an older ditz but whether such a role is fully played out would seem to be up to the wards and strength of will of the pair*

The rat makes a noise throughout the change that can quickly be identified as a groan once it starts having a human-like voice. "Aauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh." She has a lot of trouble staying in anything like an upright position through the change and winds up sitting down. She crosses her arms, taking a brief look at herself and seeming very unpleased in general. "Yeah, sure, nothing to worry about, right. Lousy stupid human shape.."
The larger demon goes over and offers a hand to help her up. "Hey, come on, like, I can turn you back to normal!"
"Please, if your magic was powerful enough to counteract this it wouldn't even have affected me in the first place." She takes the hand anyway, and stands rather unsteadily.

((Works for me. I had a vague idea of using a rat-girl picture or something, but couldn't really find any good ones, and this fits better with the obvious mage-familiar bond anyhow.))

*Ambush jerks as one water shot knocks off Ookalf's hat. Growling, he swerves and dives into a pool---just as another blast strikes him. He resurfaces as she half a minute later.*

Amber: ...Well, blast. This is gonna take a little bit to get rid of.

*The woman smiles at her changes then pauses seemingly thinking about something*"I think its time to start setting up services*her stomach growls* Definately services*she looks to ookalf *Could you squirt someone into a waitress?

[Ookalf]

Yay! *Ookalf quickly reclaims her hat before answering the woman.* Yeah, sure thing! You need me to call someone in for that?

"Nope just find someone squirt them it should do the trick"

Amber: You guys do that. I'm going to do something stupid.

*Amber walks off and starts work on setting up a trade show booth---of all things---a short distance from the pool she climbed out of.*

'Kay! *Ookalf lifts her gun and looks around.* ...Like, do any of ya'll count as "someone"?

"Soo, like, should I call you Jyrra?"
"..Only if I'm supposed to call you Reyl," responds the smaller demon-girl. She walks awkwardly over toward where the former-cat went. "Any chance I can help you out with that? Seeing how you're the only other person here with a drop of common sense."

"Reyl", meanwhile, wanders over to one of the water park's rides, trying to think of an idea to improve or alter it somehow..
