Idol Calling

[Blaze]

Blaze puts Aziko down at an outside table and sits opposite from her, a rather scarily intense look on her face.

"So... that 'talent' was internal. Why did it cause me to act like that?"

[Knight Errant]

Aziko straightens her dress a bit... looking slightly ruffled, even with the sparkly aura she seems to always radiate. "Right... hmm..." She taps her chin... thinking. "I'll try to explain... You see... people have many things that hold them back. Barriers in their heads... things set in by themselves and others. Now... alot of these are good things. It keeps you from doing things that are... well... bad."

She tilts her head. "Am I making any sense so far...?"

[Blaze]

Blaze gives a nod as a waiter places a jug of iced water and two glasses on the table for the pair.

"Well, yeah. Inhibitions, keep up from just taking what we want all the time."

[Knight Errant]

Aziko nods! "Mhmm! Well... there are others that aren't good. Barriers that keep us from living up to our full potential... because of shyness, hesitation, or social pressure." She pauses and takes a sip... tapping the side of the glass for a moment before continuing. "When we met... I saw all this talent in you... but also all these walls that kept it from coming out. I just... well... removed them. Your singing... how you acted... it was all you. Just without regret, hesitation, or second guessing yourself."

[Blaze]

Blaze just sits there for a moment... before her whole face lights up pink, quickly pouring a glass of water and gulping it down. She puts it down and quivers a bit.

"You... no way... I'm nothing like how she acted! I think changing the way people think is horrid! And I CERTAINLY don't like acting like a twit on stage!"

[Knight Errant]

Aziko frowns. "And why do you feel that way? Do you REALLY dislike it? Or do you just think you SHOULD dislike it. She is you... just... allowed to feel and act the way you want to but wont let yourself."

[Blaze]

Blaze takes several deep breaths and calms herself, rubbing her eyes with the heel of her palms.

"Okay... look, the talent I'll give you. When I was a kid, I took singing and ballet lessons to prepare myself to be a paranormal investigator. But I am not suppressing any girlishness, nor any desire to be in the spotlight."

[Knight Errant]

The Idol sighs. "And I'm telling you... you are. What do you think... I put some kind of Idol fever into you? You think I brainwashed you or something? I'm trying to tell you the truth, but you've already decided I'm some mind altering liar Idol."

[Blaze]

Blaze folds her arms and shakes her head, looking away.

"I'm not saying that. If you were, you would have tried to brainwash me instantly... but I'm not like that. Maybe some third factor got involved. This body used to belong to a violet girl, maybe that interfered somehow..."

[Knight Errant]

Aziko humphs... "Miss... your not like that... because you wont let yourself be like that. How can you know about thoughts and feelings you don't let yourself feel? Saying you have no repressed thoughts is kind of silly, since the definition of repressed is that you don't know about them anymore. I'm saying there is an inner you that wants to be an Idol. Who wants to sing and dance in front of crowds..."

[Blaze]

Blaze shoots Aziko a glare and huffs.

"And I'm saying that you're wrong. And since there's not a lot we can do to prove our positions..."

Blaze suddenly winces and rubs her head.

[Knight Errant]

Aziko blinks... "You alright?"

[Blaze]

Blaze suddenly seems a little more flustered, nodding rapidly.

"Yeah just got... a headache! Yeah!"

[Knight Errant]

The idol frowns... tapping her glass again in a tinking melody. "Something tells me its not that..."

[Blaze]

"It's just... ever since that... forget it, it's nothing." Blaze mutters, letting out a long sigh.
