Dimensional Labyrinth

[Maiden Miki]

In the mirror, Mike sees her own gorgeous face peering back at her. Indeed, her mascara is running a bit, and her nose is shining a bit... but there is no camera in here, so she can check the note!

Her magic... Miki can feel something as she tries to change the rock's color... but to her, nothing seems to change, the rock continues to be the same color it always was.

Megan stumbles and rolls into the hole just in time as the giant climbs up. Discovering her little nest, he mutters as he examines it.

"I'll find you one of these days..." he snarls, shoving everything she built up to the floor far below before climbing back down.

Mike took a moment to admire herself. She didn't look half bad. If anything, her face looked drop dead beautiful even though her make up was in need of reapplying. It was then that Mike remember the note and at once pulled herself away from her own image. She reached into her cuff and at once began to read it.

Miki stares at the rock but could see that nothing was happening. He tried again but once again he was disappointed. Though, she did felt something. Maybe that was a key. MIki tried to reach for the feeling and pulled it up to see what it was.

Megan stays in her hole. She didn't like how that man sounded and was wondering what made himself so upset at her or whoever she was suppose to be. She slowly peeked up to see if anybody was there before getting out of her hiding spot.

"Th-that was close," said Megan as she took deep breaths.

[Kumi-chan]

Interesting. *She takes the weapons, starting to examine each of them.* Hmm those names seem familar. *She shrugs and goes about seeing if she can disassemble the gun into the pieces parts. She could make something from them more useful. Of course doing this might make the non-functional. She pondering about this world, looking further down the mountain.* hmm...

[Blaze]

How... how long has this been happening? *Ookalf glances back at the shore.*

Looking back, the Renards standing there seem miles away, the visions of the forest still swirling in Ookalf's eyes... but gradually, they fade, and the foxpeople come back into focus.

"A long time. But now, you will help us bring an end to it." the elderly woman says, gesturing for you to emerge.

Dact sighs... "Whew... by the gods... That thing is not messing around." He rubs his neck. "Note to self... stay away from little girls and giant metal men..." Now substantially less armed... he makes a note to look out for replacement weapons as he continues once the inner lock opens.

The steel door opens, ushering Dact into what looks like some sort of entertainment plaza... as he walks in, someone drops down silently from above... slicing open his backpack!

The notes is a series of numbers, followed by either a 'R' or an 'L!' In her mind, the image of a giant vault door pops up, the idea of her turning the dial to match the numbers, turning right or left...

As she does, the girl next to Miki looks towards the rock. "Hey... did that rock just turn pink?"

The giant seems to be gone... but her little setup now lies in splinters on the ground far below...

Interesting. *She takes the weapons, starting to examine each of them.* Hmm those names seem familar. *She shrugs and goes about seeing if she can disassemble the gun into the pieces parts. She could make something from them more useful. Of course doing this might make the non-functional. She pondering about this world, looking further down the mountain.* hmm...

The guns seem to be tamper proof! One of them, when she seems to be making progress, warns here that the Hyperion Corporation will not be responsible for any injuries or death caused by their crack team of assault lawyers as they come after her for violating the weapon's warranty. Looking down the mountain, she catches a glimpse of a desert in the distance...

[Ookalf]

Mike saw the note and somehow a vault came to her mind. She tried her best to memorize the numbers and see if she could remember anything else about where this vault could be. This could be Mike's way out of this place and returning back to normal. All she had to do was pull this plan off and play along.

After a few more minutes of memorizing the numbers, Mike reapplied some make up and left the bathroom.

"What! It did!" yelled Miki as he jumped up to take a look at the rock that she was focusing on.

Megan looked a bit down seeing that it was once somebody's home but she might as well get out of her hiding place.

"I think I may need to be careful," said Megan as she looked around carefully. She needed to find out where she was going and much more what she looked like. She slowly walked around hoping to find something of clues.

[Knight Errant]

The steel door opens, ushering Dact into what looks like some sort of entertainment plaza... as he walks in, someone drops down silently from above... slicing open his backpack!

Dact acks! And goes to do a spinning kick to whatever is behind him!

[Kumi-chan]

*Kumi would normally proceed anyhow on taking apart the weapons but she being limited in her powers thinks this is not the best course of action. Avoiding more combat would be a good thing. With the current abilities she has access to as well it wouldn't be good to just randomly start fights as well, as melting people in burning pools of lava often times end on a poor note. She would have liked to make herself a nice side arm that could use all of these elements just by changing the mag but that seems beyond this technological level of the weapons. Instead she decides to figure out which of these weapons might be the most effective for protection, mostly looking at the pistols. But also taking note of the capabilities of the others as well.*
*With her final selections made she tests fires each of the chosen guns, one magazine per weapon. To determine which would be the best choice for combat purposes. Taking into account their rate of fire, how much damage she thinks they are doing, and the elemental effects of the weapons. Once she has figured this out she takes with her a pistol, a shotgun, and a smg type of weapons. She leaving the others behind... not really caring to sell them or anything.*
*She looks down the mountain seeing a wasteland near the bottom of if and sighs.* No signs of peaceful creatures yet. *She has gotten pretty good at scanning the horizons with her eyes over the years of her travels.* At least whoever did this is lessening that from me. *grins and continues down the path of the mountain, toward the desert.*

[Blaze]

Two of the old woman's guards stand by, one holding a towel, the other a set of clothes, the woman herself offering Ookalf a hand out of the spring.

He hits his assailant, sending them smashing into the airlock door! They recover fast and leap back into the roof, all of Dact's stuff scattered all over the floor.

The pistol she takes, one of the sci-fish ones seems to become more accurate and stable the more she shoots it. The shotgun has a very small magazine, but the kick and the cracks it puts into rock seems to suggest huge amounts of power. The SMG is all curves with a strange wheel clip on the side that rotates. It shoots flaming projectiles!

Down towards the desert, the snow getting less thick and dirtier as she goes. In the distance, she can make out what looks to be a giant digger, perhaps for mining operations.

[Ookalf]

Two of the old woman's guards stand by, one holding a towel, the other a set of clothes, the woman herself offering Ookalf a hand out of the spring.

Thanks... *Once back on land, Ookalf dries off and gets dressed.* Gonna need my belt, too...

The other woman smiles pleasantly at Mike as she emerges.

"All freshened up? You had best get going then." she says with a smile.

"Wait 10 seconds, then start heading for the vault." the voice on the radio whispers.

"Right. I will," said Mike as she spoke to the other woman and the voice in her head. She waited for full ten seconds before leaving the lounge and slowly made her way to the vault. She was keeping an ear and eye out for anybody that may be walking around in the hallways.

"Wait? That rock didn't change," said Miki who was confused and looked at the girl. Miki then tried again to make the rock pink but kept his eyes opened.

"Wait? Who is that?" asked Megan as she looked at her reflection. She then pulled on one of her ears.
