"You make a cute little - well, big - for me - right now - statue, but, honestly, I just don't know what to do with you! You must know how it is, new painting, new statue, new lamp. So I was hoping you could help me out: anything you've got a burning desire to adorn? Not necessarily as this exactly."

To that she gave a facetious wince.

"Second choice? Figurehead, fountain, mannequin, pendant... really just about everything's on the table but that."

She shrugged.

"Not really. Do I need one?"

(( I suppose some people just aren't well suited to being inanimate... :P I wonder if I should have Mischa pay a visit to Rosetta's stall... ))

She shrugged. "To each her own."

"Tell you what: let's compromise. I'll try to think of something mobile for you to be, just not under your own power. How does a bike-girl sound?"

(( Oh, phooey, I can't resist any longer... X3 If nothing else I'll lean on the fourth wall and try to offer helpful advice to mischevious fairies.))

Mischa wanders by the market! He casts a curious glance at the strange metal statue that seems to be located near the heart of the market, although it's largely ignored by the clientele more interested in frequenting the nearby stalls, before noticing Rosetta out running one of the stalls. He offers her a friendly wave, but sees she seems to be busy talking with a couple of young girls, so decides to spend a moment just browsing the various wares offered.

"no thanks.. are you having trouble coming up with an idea"

While Matt was still arguing with Rosetta and the teenagers, Elliot had got his smoothie and was slurping it up through the straw as he wandered about the marketplace and came across the fairy. He watched her for a moment and then giggled.

"You know you can see up your dress when you fly around?".

((Sorry - life, etc.))

Kether wrote:"no thanks.. are you having trouble coming up with an idea"

"Hmmph! I'm not having trouble coming up with an idea; you're having trouble accepting you are simply not going to walk away from this! Maybe I should just freeze your head and be done with it... but I do so want someone to get some use out of you..."

She sighed. "Okay, maybe I am hard up for ideas. Any thoughts? The main caveat, again - you're done moving under your own power, at least significantly." She fidgeted a bit, before muttering "sorry," with something like sympathy, but nothing like repentance.

With a huff (and a quick crossing of her legs), she paused her conversation with the statue for a moment to deal with this impetuous child.

"Let's see how you fare, boy!"

Aiming her wand lifted him into the air, he could feel his body begin to shrink. As well as shrinking with him, he could feel his clothing - but critically, not the body underneath (although there was a strange itch coming from his back) - flowing into some new, altogether different form. In particular, the inseam of his jeans seemed to be unravelling, and the waist fusing to his shirt...
