The nervous looking young man, stares at the model with a thoughtful look upon his face.

"Even if a society was very cooperative, how would they go about making a new sun."

The young man realizes that he is speaking out loud and quickly hushes himself up.

Hey, that's a good question... How do you build a sun?

Muffi lifted her free hand, and rubbed at the back of her neck as the child reassured her, the same nervous trait that had occurred when the woman downstairs had told her off for being too loud with her microphone. At first she blushed brightly, and had a slightly befuddled expression, but that soon faded when the delightful little tune began to come from the pink piano.

The teenager felt her heart start to race again, like it had when climbing the staircase, but this time it was not from fear, but excitement. Keep hold of Laeti's hand, she found herself running around the room with the children, her light skirt swishing and bouncing around her thighs as she raced to make sure she ended up in a chair each time the music came to a stop.

She let Laeti make the decisions, letting her mind just relax as the child picked when they slowed down, or when they picked up their pace, and so far it seemed to be a smart move as they remained in the game while others were eliminated. In the middle of it all, she thought for a moment how the girls actually seemed older than she'd first thought, but she didn't dwell on that for long.

Hey, that's a good question... How do you build a sun?

"Um... well..." Penny struggles to remember what, if anything, Flos or Fenestra might have told her about this, but in the end, she can't think of anything. "I don't really know the specifics of the story. Sorry! Though... you could try asking Fenestra if we see her later." That said, she blinks, remembering how much more of the library that she still had to guide them through.

"But... would it be okay for us to move on now? We have so much library left to see..."

"Yeah, I don't mind." Arisu said joining the conversation. "We can't really learn about everything in the middle of a tour after all." She ended the sentance with a smile.

"Um... well..." Penny struggles to remember what, if anything, Flos or Fenestra might have told her about this, but in the end, she can't think of anything. The young man nods quickly and nervously shuffles forward a bit, still looking around, getting more and more lost in the sheer number of books this place has.

[Feng]

MEANWHILE....

The Chibi monitoring the operation grows concerned at Pick's inability to report in.

"Sir? We appear to have lost contact with Picks. This is the third check-in he's ignored. We fear his position might have been compromised. Orders sir?"

Eyeing the display of the city before him, a Criminal Mastermind ponders the situation carefully, tea being his only distraction from his plotting.

"Hmmm..." says Bones, rubbing his chin. "Who do we have in the area who's available to investigate?"

"Not a whole lot, I'm afraid. Most people are off on other assignments. There does appear to be one person available, though, agent.... oh. It's Atoq...."

"Ah yes, that guy. He's perfectly expendable and this task should be simple enough for even him to pull off. Send him a wire immediately" ^^

"Aye sir...."

Moments later a Chibi walks up to the Library gazing in awe at the imposing structure before him! @.@

As time went on, only 12 children remained... then 10... then 9. Whenever a child was eliminated, they walked off in a flourish of giggles and frills, and the excitement and anticipation for the next round grew for all those left standing. The longer she and Laeti ran around and around the every lowering quantity of chairs, the more excited Muffi grew... so excited that she continued to be incapable of recognizing the many changes that were constantly happening to her.

7 children remained, and Muffi's features... her arms, her legs, her feet, and her hands... all became more soft; less feminine now than before, and more... youthful. Childish, even. Her hands could easily be defined as tiny and delicate, as could her feet.

6 children remained, and Muffi barely reached Laeti's neck in height. Her height was constantly dwindling, and now, with all of her features, including her height, her voice when she giggled, and her proportions, she now resembled an eight-year-old girl... and her height was still dropping.

4 children remained, and now Muffi did not only appear to be a girl, but she was in the most literal, biological sense. If she had been able to notice this change, Muffi would have felt a certain emptiness between her legs. Her clothing, too, now reflected, and even accentuated, her adorable features. A frilly sweet lolita dress with a color to match the rose in her hair had formed on her, and a pair of glistening white formal slippers on her feet accompanied it. Muffi looked practically angelic with her flaxen hair flowing behind her as she ran, and certainly had a degree of unearthly beauty to her now. And by the time her dress was fully on her, Muffi had grown even shorter, now appearing as would a seven-year-old... or even a six-year-old.

Only 2 children remained now... Laeti and Muffi herself. One chair rested near the piano now, and only one girl, Muffi or Laeti, could take the seat and win. Each finally took their hand from the other. When the music stopped, not realizing to what extent she had been changed, Muffi overestimated one of her steps and tripped. Laeti sat in the seat with a triumphant smile on her face.

"Yay, yay!" Laeti was repeating the word over and over, but never took her eyes off of Muffi. "But it isn't fair if just one of us gets to win; we both did really well, right?" All of the other children nodded their heads and voiced their agreement with cheerful chants.

"Well, then Muffi..." Laeti lowered her hands to secure Muffi in her arms. To Muffi's awe... she fit easily into the caress of Laeti's arms... and in Laeti's lap. "We both win!"

Muffi appeared to be no more than four years old now... and sat in the lap of a girl that Muffi previously thought of as too young to even socialize with. All of the changes were finally evident to her... and she had every right to be shocked. If she were to stand, she would barely reach 3'7 in height.

The building looms before the Chibi, raindrops still falling on to the marble tiles beneath its feet, making the floor fairly slippery. The long red carpet still lies in front of the library's doors, which also lie, as they did hours (Or had it only been minutes? None could really say.) ago, wide open. Getting in to the building, at least, should be no ordeal...

The young man nods quickly and nervously shuffles forward a bit, still looking around, getting more and more lost in the sheer number of books this place has.

Many of the books have titles that interest the boy, and other attractive features ranging from the thickness of the books to their colors and their apparent textures. One thing was common to nearly every book on the shelves, though...

... they were all together tantalizing. It was almost unbearable to be with this tour and not be able to read every all of these books... one by one. Much like the one Picks heard before, the boy hears something not unlike a voice speaking to him in his mind...

"Go on, read one. Read two. Oh, go ahead... read them all! Absorb all of the knowledge that you possibly can... what benefit do you have tagging along with that silly tour, anyway? You can find everything just fine on your own."

Muffi felt a little light headed from the excitement. She knew that she shouldn't be enjoying herself so much, but she just couldn't help it. So eager to make sure her butt was in a chair each time the music stopped, ladylike grace was ignored, her dress bouncing up to briefly give everyone a glimpse of her panties when she jumped onto the chairs.

She'd always been so skinny, yet she didn't even notice as her figure started to slowly fill out with a child-like chubbiness as she ran around with Laeti, or the way her arms and legs became shorter and more awkward. The dress swished and rustled as she ran, and she could feel the game getting harder. Somehow, the little girls left seemed both faster and stronger than her, and she knew for sure now that without Laeti's help, she would have been eliminated!

As the dress swelled out with frills, she found it was getting even harder to run, as the sway of the petticoats would constantly be tugging at her balance as they bounced from side to side and up and down, and the shoulders puffed out so they brushed up against her cheeks when she lifted her arms. She felt a nudge from a girl she could clearly see was only about seven years old, yet much to surprise the girl felt so much stronger than that, and Muffi was sent stumbling to the side, saved at the last moment by a helpful tug from Laeti to help her onto one of the final two chairs.

Now that only they two remained, and Laeti released her hand, Muffi felt herself panic. She tried to run for a chair but felt so clumsy, and let out a cry of surprise when she tripped over her own two feet, feeling her dress swish up again to show all the children her panties as she landed on her hands and knees. Her wide blue eyes looked up to Laeti, who sat triumphantly on the chair, and her heart skipped a beat at how big the little girl looked!

Just as she was trying to figure out how this was possible, the little girl leaned forward, and her arms wrapped around Muffi. She let out a gasp as she was lifted up from her legs, feeling her dress bunch up around her waist as she sat across Latei's lap, and she suddenly realise what had happened to her.

She actually felt dizzy from the logic-defying situation of comfortably being sat in the lap of such a young girl, but there was no denying she was quite a perfect fit there. The frills of Laeti's dress tickled her face as she was held, and she let out a soft moan as she felt her round little tummy, her plump arms and legs, her chubby cheeks. Her head turned slightly, wide eyes looking around at the room, which seemed so much larger now, along with all those little girls that didn't seem very little at all anymore!

There was so much to take it, she looked stunned, her gaze unfocused as it darted around the girls. Not only was she trying to make sense of suddenly being so young, but now she was fully aware of how short her frilly dress was, and it easily her panties showed. She still wasn't used to the concept of even wearing panties, so she definitely didn't want everyone else to be seeing them so often!

"W-What happened?", she asked, her cheeks flushing brightly red at the childish sound that left her lips.

Penny nods nervously and leads the group onward, turning several corners and walking through aisles and aisles of the massive red wood bookcases. Eventually, the group comes to one of the two large staircases leading upwards, this staircase being the one opposite of the flight Muffi traveled up to get to the Children's Section.

"This staircase leads to different areas of the library. The first room we'll come to will be the Hall of Paintings." Penny tries her best to make eye contact with each visitor and keep a joyful look on her face. It's always better to look happy on the job, after all! "Every painting in that room is an optical illusion. They look like one thing at first, but if you look hard enough, you'll see another picture! And some say that the second image is different depending on the person! Spooky, huh?"

One tiny, clumsy little hand tugged at the mass of frills as she squirmed in Laeti's arms, still unable to fully take in how firm and strong the little girl seemed now. She glanced up, meeting the gaze of the pigtailed girl, feeling rather overwhelmed by the frills and cuteness that now engulfed her. The hand not struggling with her dress lifted, fingers nervously brushing over the features of her youthful face in disbelief.

"W-What happened?", she asked, her cheeks flushing brightly red at the childish sound that left her lips.

"I told you already, silly... we won!" Laeti smiles wide and gives the small girl in her lap a tight hug. "Aren't we lucky~?" Giggling, Laeti strokes Muffi's hair with one of her hands and continues to hug her.

As Laeti cuddles Muffi, it is easy for Muffi to feel how small her features are... and also easy to tell that they're getting smaller still. Muffi's face grows ever so slightly more round, and her torso shrinks even more. By the time all of these strange sensations cease, Muffi looks, and in many ways, feels like a two-and-a-half-year-old. She is truly the epitome of what would define adorable in her pure white dress and Mary Jane shoes, and with her sparkling blond hair that reaches just an inch past shoulder length. Another strange shift occurs... this time underneath Muffi's dress. She feels some of the soft fabric of her undergarments spread further down her legs, and by the time they've finished, she is wearing bloomers to match her dress. At some point, stockings seem to have crawled their way up to just below Muffi's knees as well, and they, too, match the rest of her brilliant white outfit. Ultimately, Muffi is a bit less than three feet tall, standing at 2'8... and if she could see herself in the mirror, her cheeks would be bright red.

While Muffi's thoughts haven't changed, if she spoke, she may find that she has some trouble getting certain words out now, and if she tried to read, most novels would have many words that she couldn't understand. Her voice is high now as well, and very, very childish. She was now the kind of little girl that passerby would stop and say "Awww... how cute!" to. In fact, if she saw herself, she might consider saying that if she could get past her embarrassment.

Nova pays close attention to Penny's explanation of the model. When the shy girl asks if they can move on, she gives her another encouraging smile. She was about too try and give Penny some encouraging words... but she had already led the group away! With a tiny squeak, she ran after them!

Arisu listened to the explanation on the room with the paintings. "Optical illusions, huh." Arisu whispered to herself, and secretly and somehow unnoticed, entered the Hall of Paintings.

The young man's attention keeps turning from the tour to the multitude of books. Each one of them looks so wonderful to read...and far more entertaining than the tour which seemed to be dragging on and on. Finally the young man was unable to stand it anymore and ducks out of the tour group, at last finding himself alone with all the books. He runs a finger over some of them as he squints to read their titles. One book however seems to call to him more than the others. The young man silently and gently pulls it from its shelf and peers inside.

While in the Hall of Paintings, Arisu snapped her fingers, and a set of clothes appeared out of nowhere. She snapped her fingers again and the clothes she was wearing switched places with the new clothes, and because she was wearing clothes she bought from Circe's shop, she returned to her appearance. Another snap and the Miko clothing vanished. Arisu soon gazed into one of the paintings, seeing 2 different things, the other one after looking hard enough. It was a red design of sorts, but her eyesight wasn't the greatest, and couldn't make out what it was.

Laeti's voice vibrated through Muffi, and it sent a chill down her spine. Despite knowing the girl was up to no good, she could only let out a soft moan as she was gently squeezed while another hand ran through her hair. She'd always enjoyed having her hair stroked, and it made her relax, her small hands grasping onto the other girl's frilly dress when she felt Laeti's lap growing beneath her butt, and the girl's torso expanding to fill her vision entirely.

The small bumps beneath Laeti's dress brushed against Muffi's face, and she could feel her butt poking out behind her, chubby thighs spread apart by the older girl's lap, leaving her underwear exposed even as she felt the panties shifting into something longer and more frilly. She could feel strength fading from her legs, and her arms growing less coordinated, and blushed brightly at the sensations.

She squirmed and wriggled, but her body felt so small and awkward, and Laeti's gentle grasp was so firm. Her wide, blue eyes looked around at the other little girls, and her chest tightened, overcome with shame as she saw them all watching this. With a whimper, she turned her head and buried her face in the frills of Laeti's chest again, clinging onto the girl that had caused her humiliation because she didn't know what else to do...
