The Ebon Mirror.

A recently archaeological dig has uncovered a horrific artifact from the frozen southernmost continent, well the second team sent. The first team of course sucumbed to madness and killed eachother. The Second team well half off them returned and are recieving the best mental care money can provide. But they brought back something, a mirror so black as to redefine black, around its edges are odd designs of prehuman creatures. To recup the losses of the various expiditions the mirror is being displayed to the public for a very low and reasonable price!*

[Sam]

Sam heads to the building where the mirror is displayed hoping to know the secrets of the mirror

"Who wouldn't want to see something that could potentially destroy your mind?"

[Ookalf]

*Having heard some of the stories surrounding this mirror, Ookalf comes in to investigate, and figure out if this thing's really as dangerous as people say...*

[Kether]

*they are charged 20hl to enter, upon which they see a simple black mirror.. nothing strange.. but the reflection seems off*

[Sam]

Sam gives Ookalf a chance to look in the mirror first

Do you see anything interesting Ookalf?

[Ookalf]

Hum... *After paying the guy at the entrance, Ookalf walks up and looks into the mirror.* Not really... Mostly just looks like my reflection.

[Kether]

there's almost a compulsion to reach up and touch in Ookalf

[Ookalf]

Seems safe so far... Maybe if you touch it? *Ookalf reaches forward and gives the mirror an experimental poke...*

[Kether]

*Ookalf falls through and out falls a different sort of wolf person*

[Sam]

Sam yells into the mirror

"You alright in there Ookalf?"

[Ookalf]

*Ookalf doesn't seem to answer from the mirror... However, the disoriented-looking woman who popped out in his place does speak.* Um, I think so... Who are you, though?

[Sam]

Sam gulps, either Ookalf has gone through a severe change that has altered him in body and mind, or he's speaking to a random girl from another dimension. Who knows maybe the mirror made him go insane but that doesn't matter now.

"My name is Sam! Can you tell me your name?"

[Ookalf]

Uh, Ookalf... *While the woman doesn't outright say it, her face makes it rather look like she thinks a "duh" belongs at the end of that sentence.* I thought you knew? I mean, you did just call me that, right?

[Sam]

"I can't see through the other side of the mirror. For all I know you could have been someone not related to Ookalf at all or perhaps an amnesiac"

[Ookalf]

Uh-huh... *The woman looks past Sam and toward the mirror.* So, what's going on here, again?
