Calypso's Casino! [FULL; PM if you want in]

It was strange. A once, very reputable building company that was based in Muffinville, over night just... disapeared. Gone. Vammosed. The building is deserted, but all the money that was inside it is gone.

...

In a completely unrelated occurance, a new Casino has opened up in Muffinville! It's big, but not overly loud, or bright, even. It has a big, fancy sign that says Calypso's Casino in a fancy script, and a rather impressive bouncer keeping watch over the door, a happy grin on her face. She's occasionally flexing her muscles as she watches the door, making sure no... unsavory... people manage to get in.

There are two smaller signs, near the door. The first is says, Color energy not welcome and the second says, CTC officers welcome.

...If somebody with particular forthought tried to scan the building, then they'd find a surprising lack of color energy in the establishment. Yes, there's the ambiant color energy that all buildings have, but it's not enough to really transform somebody, or even alter them a tiny bit. It's taking a unsurprising amount of energy, and isn't too large for a casino. It seems legit.

[OOC: WARNING! I am a big fan of mental changes. Unless you specifically PM me and tell me that you do not want some, then you will, most likely, get some. I'll try to fit it in with your likes and such, and I'll try to check signatures and the 'Transformations I like/dislike' thread, but I'm not perfect. And, before you ask, yes, some of them will be a complete personality re-write... but it'll be slow, and most of them won't be, methinks.

If the topic description has 'FULL', then if you want to join the thread and actually enter the casino then you'll have to PM me for permission, on IRC or on forum. If you join anyway, then I will let you wait in line. If you force your way in, I will god-mod you out. If you force yourself in again, then I'll forever ignore you in this thread and any characters you have if you try to enter this thread. This includes adding new characters on top of one that you already have in here. I'm doing this so I can keep the work up, not so I can be a tryant. My apologies, and thank you for understanding.]

Wandering upon the establishment, Chris G pauses and stares. "Huh, a casino, eh? I wonder if I can have some decent luck at Texas Hold Em...been a good while since I played, but I should have some luck. I mean, been living through hell for a while, something's gotta give, right?" Shrugging for a moment, G makes his way up to the entrance, spotting the bouncer-chick? Blinking at that, G just shrugs a little, but he kinda keeps his empathic powers attuned to the emotions of those around him, just to see if there was anyone with not-so-nice intentions around.

Actually... everybody in the casino seems really happy; no ill intent at all. There is, however, some kind of mind that's... spread thought the entire inside...? Strange. It makes it a bit hard to read...

The bouncer hops up a bit to Chris. "Hiya!" She says, cheerfully, grinning. "Welcome to Calypso's Casino! No transformational abilities, excess color energy, or cheating, please! If you do, then we'll be forced to make you make it up to us!" She giggles slightly. "ANYway... feel free to enter, cuty! Try to win EVERYthing, okay? And if you try to steal from us, then I'll be forced to break your arms and legs!" And then she smiles.

Sam blinks a little bit as he senses something a bit off spread throughout the entire inside of the casino, but is broken in his thoughts as the bouncer hops up to him. After listening to bouncer speak, gulping a little bit at the last bit. "Uhm, you can count on me to be on my best behavior! Especially since D isn't with me..." Sam says, putting on a bit of a forced smile as he slowly heads on inside.

Inside, is... purple. Classy purple, to be sure, but the main motiff of the building is purple. It all is actually put together rather well... not too much, or too little, and splashes of color make the place seem more... open, while keeping the refined air.

Sam enters, and finds lines of machines; according to the instructions, he is to either put money in, or link it to his bank account, and a small card comes out with his cash linked to it, instead of varios coins. Interesting.

You know... Sam is feeling rather... lucky, now that he's actually in here... Just a bit.

G pauses for a moment. "Hm...well, I hope the guys don't mind if I use what money that nice lady gave us to press my luck, eh?" Glancing around a bit, G heads on over to one of the machines, and, following the instructions, begins to make the link to the bank account that the four have!

It is easily linked; G now has access to his entire bank acount, to be used for gambeling if he wants to... and now, all he has to choose is what to gamble on! There's all of the normal casino attractions here... slots, cards, dice... whatever he wants!

That lucky feeling... in the back of his mind? It's slowly, very slowly, growing.

After grabbing the card from the machine, Chris G grins as he knows exactly where he wants to go! Off to the Texas Hold'Em tables he goes!!

As Chris walks across the floor, he sees a variaty of bunny girls, cat girls, and even the occasional maid wandering the floor, serving drinks, geting close to some of the clients... all of them seem rather happy.

BUT! He manages to reach the Texas Hold 'Em table without any trouble, ran by a rather attractive cat girl. "Oh! Hello!" She says in a high pitched voice, grinning ear to ear. "Are you hear to play with me?" There are a few other people around the table, and they appear to have just wrapped up a round; they shouldn't mind if Chris joins them.

Gulping a little bit at all of the different girls, wondering whether or not those cat-ears on the catgirls were real or not, G pauses as he finally makes it to the Texas Hold 'Em table, spotting the rather attractive cat girl, blushing a little. "Well, um, yes, I am. Mind if I join in?"

"Not at all!" She says, cheerfully. "The more the merrier!" She starts laying out the cards, bending over a bit to show more of her clevage, and winking at some of the more... 'observant' customers. "How much are in for, nya?"

There appears to be a slot right at Chris's seat, that should fit the card he just recieved, as well as verious buttons that have increasingly large amounts... some of them are even more then what he has on him! There's even a button that says 'All in' at the end, in case he wants to bet it all.

You know... Chris finds that, despite the girls, he's feeling rather... confident. Sure he could win! It's just Texas Hold 'Em! And pretty girls? Nothing to be afraid of!

Yeah, it's just Texas Hold 'Em! Sure, these girls are quite the eye-full, and that nya was a bit odd, but, c'mon! Time to get into the game, man! Clearing the cobwebs from his head, Chris G pauses for a moment, as he inserts his card. "I think I'll play it safe for the first round and bet the minimum."

The smallest button is...! $25. It's a bit steep, perhaps, but that sure feeling that Chris is feeling... he's gotta win! "Well, nya, just pick your bid and then pick up your cards, okay~?" She smiles blindingly at Chris, grinning happily.

Nodding, Chris hits the minimum bid of $25 dollars, without much reluctance, before slowly raising up his two cards, peering down and curving them up so only he can get a look at him, almost as if he was imitating a professional. All the while, he's hoping for pocket Aces, pocket Kings, or something really good.

Something... something feels... wrong, when choosing the minimum bid. It's just so... so small! The phrase 'go big or go home' echoes through his head for a moment, before fading into the backround.

Ah, well, nothing to do about it now. He checks, and Chris has... two aces! The best starting hand! Looks like his confidence isn't unfounded, after all!
