Pet the Kitty

*Ambush Cat lays on an old sofa, seemingly asleep. A sign posted next to him reads:*

"Done out of sheer boredom! The demigod(dess) of sneak attacks wants YOU! Pet the kitty, receive a prize. Quality is random!"

Mischa hmms. "Aww... well, can't have a bored kitty..." He pets the kitty on the couch!

Drum Muzuka blinks at this, scratching his head. "That's... sure different."

*Ambush accepts the petting, purring in his sleep. A blue translucent sphere materializes on one of the sofa cushions; there seems to be something floating in the center of it.*

Mischa pauses, blinking at the sphere in surprise. He keeps petting the kitty with one hand, while picking the sphere up with the other to get a closer look at it.

"Huh..." Drum moves on over and pets Ambush a little.

*It's an odd combination, really. It feels like an oversized Super Ball (and could probably serve the same purpose if the user is bored), but the contents at the center are giving off just enough power to be felt on the surface. If Mischa focuses on it long enough, she'll notice that it is beginning to glow a little.*

"Huh..." Drum moves on over and pets Ambush a little.

*Ambush rolls onto his back, his tail twitching. Another translucent object with a glowy center, this one shaped like a yellow football, appears within arm's reach of Drum.*

Mischa ooohs! He'd heard of Super Balls but never had one... he hesitates a moment, but tries bouncing the ball lightly on the bench! "Oooh, this is fun... thanks, Ambush!" he says, giving the cat another rub.

"A football?" Blinks at that, but reaches out for it.

*The Super Ball bounces a few times. Much enjoyment to be had! ...Hmmm, and the glow seems to have extended to Mischa, strangely.*

*sleepily* Some sort of... mundane ability granted. Forget what, exactly...

"A football?" Blinks at that, but reaches out for it.

*The football doesn't do anything to prevent itself from being grabbed. It seems to be made of the same material as the Super Ball; and if it is examined, the glow around it brightens some.*

((OOC: Fine time for a storm to hit town... see you later. ))

*The Super Ball bounces a few times. Much enjoyment to be had! ...Hmmm, and the glow seems to have extended to Mischa, strangely.*

Mischa enjoys bouncing the ball! Wheeeeee~ Although after a few moments, he notices that his body is starting to glow with a similar light, as well!

"Err... mundane ability? What's this?" he asks the sleepy Ambush.

*yawns* Try taking a deep breath... *voice turns female* ...and exhaling, and see what happens.

*Like with the ball Mischa was given, the glow slowly extends to Drum and covers his body*

Mischa blinks... and tries inhaling deeply, and then exhaling, as the cat suggests!

*What issues forth from Mischa's mouth is... a grayish-white laser beam? In any event, the beam flies straight at a nearby thorn bush, striking it and transforming it into... a steaming cup of coffee, complete with cream and sugar!*

Finding safe stuff... *yawns and turns over again* ...to do with unusual things is fun. ...That beam is made of pure glass.
