New Years lead to New Wishes

Happy New Years (more or less) everyone. I'm going to do a limited service to everyone. If you can impress me in some way I'll grant you a single wish regardless of how mundane or over the top it might be. Hell, I'll even grant a wish to power myself down if that is what you want assuming you can earn such a thing. Who wants some wishes granted?

*Aldonza, in human form, ventures past but stops when she hears Rei's declaration. She looks like... well, whatever a red-haired adolescent of French and Turkish descent would look like. The belt and sandals she is wearing don't mesh well with her color scheme.*

I dunno, Rei-chan. No offense, but wouldn't impressing you come off as difficult?

[Blaze]

Nova listens to Raleigh's spiel with a confused look on her face.

"You... want someone to impress you? O-okay..."

She walks up to Raleigh and presses her hand against his leg.

[Raleigh]

*Starts to reply to Aldonza but stops and looks at where Nova has put her hand.* Help. Help. I need an adult. Sexual harassment.

I kid. That doesn't count though, Nova. I said impress not press. To answer you Aldonza I have been impressed several times before. Its easy really. State your wish and I will determine its value. Depending on how much energy it will cost me I will simply select the number of turns you have to survive in a fight with me. Survive them and I will be impressed.

Okay. I can do that. *calls out* Hey, Lina?

*An "Aqua Create!" and a "Flare Arrow!" can be heard from somewhere up above. A cascade of hot water rains down on Aldonza, restoring her to her normal foxy form. Mini-Lina herself floats down to land somewhere nearby.*

*shakes some water out of her fur* Much better. Now then, the wish... what do I want... hmm... *grins* Okay, I know. What if I wished that Lina and I... *jerks a thumb at the living doll* ...could become able to fuse together and combine our powers in a fight? How many turns would I have to last?

Mini-Lina: So long as it ain't a permanent fusion, I don't have any problems with it.

[Blaze]

"B-But... 'impress'can also mean to press something against another th... never mind. I'm sorry sir..."

She blushes and bows deeply, backing away from the brewing fight

[Raleigh]

No offense taken Nova. If it was a different set of rewards I would have even allowed it but this is a bit more serious.

Hm... for that kind of wish I would say five rounds since it wouldn't be too hard to swing.

Works for me. *loosens her belt and kicks her sandals away* Stay back a bit, Lina.

*Mini-Lina complies and flies off to the side. The wind in Aldonza and Raleigh's immediate vicinity seems to be becoming more active.*

[Raleigh]

Right. Fight starts now. *Unleashes a massive pillar of white hot flames toward Aldonza with a simply pointing of his finger in her direction.*

Angry Crow Takes Flight!

*Aldonza leaps away at a sharp angle, her trajectory intended to take her out of the attack's range.*

Heat Beam Eye Blasts!

*Her irises glow a bright green, and she snaps off a pair of energy bursts at Raleigh*

*Mini-Lina can be seen facepalming in annoyance.*

[Raleigh]

Heh. Murder. *Dissolves into several crows that fly apart from the incoming beams before they seem to flock back on Aldonza from all directions at sonic speeds. It would seem they are acting somewhat like flying blades.*

Fox Eats Crow!

*Huh. Talking must be a free action, it seems... at any rate, Aldonza's long tail starts lashing out at similar speeds, trying to smack the crows away with a curtain of wind.*

[Raleigh]

*One crow veers off from the rest reforming into Raleigh's usual human form. Behind it in a pattern of properly scaled crow wings are thousands of small mundane throwing daggers.* Nice trick. Combo Tech: Pinion Missile and Reign of Blades. *The daggers fire off at even faster rates than the crows from earlier and are not as likely to be easily knocked off course given the propulsion driving them.* Two turns by the way and this will make three if you survive.

*Since she doesn't see any obvious escape route, Aldonza's tail, fists and feet begin to fly almost carelessly about her as she taps into her natural (so to speak) hyperdrive; instead of relying on wind alone to protect herself, she's resorting to full-blown sonic booms to try and smash them off course. The odds of outlasting all the weaponry is against her, of course, but it sure as blazes isn't going to stop her from trying.*

I tend to forget about that power of yours. Oh well, good thing Reign of Blades has an amusing side effect. *The blades that are knocked off course rotate around and begin to fly right back at her from other angles.* Have fun dodging. *Has a full tea service tray in front of himself and is drinking some tea while he watches.* Do keep in mind you still have two turns after all this attack is finished.
