Shootout at the Muffin Corale

As the crowd leaves the amphitheater that had transformed its own audience in a twisted game show just recently, the acute (and by acute, I mean, not blind) observer might notice that something was different about the street they piled out in. First, it was hardly a street at all anymore. Instead, it was a dusty trail that led through a town that looked as if it had been lifted strait out of the old, wild west. The people who lived there were the same people who had always lived there, but now they were dressed in turn of the century garb. All of the cars but a slim few had been changed into horses and the ones that were left were very, very old turn of the century models.

A young woman, who had before this transformation had been wearing a business suit and bossing people around, ran up to Dact.

"Gunslinger! Help!" She cried, "The town's under attack from the Banditas."

[Knight Errant]

Dact wanders the streets... blinking curiously as the world begins shifting around her. "This is... new... hrmm..." She says, quite a bit interested. Then she turns at the frantic woman in a dress, hearing her plea. "Sounds like an emergency... tell me where to go and I'll see them off..."

She couldnt sit idly by while the forces of banditry were at work!

[Raleigh]

*Noticing the differences.* Ooh, time for me to pick up more era specific weaponry. *Looks around for a store that might sale anything or a fort.* I might get me another gatling gun. Ooh, I could set up a shop here too that sales magical ammo. *Grins as he sets out on his personal shopping adventure in this setting.*

Unfortunately, it seems that in preparation for the incoming bandita attack, most of the shops are shuttered and locked down tight.

"Grab a horse." She said, "The Sheriff would like to see you."

From behind him, Sara offered, "Can I do anything to help? I may not be able to wield a gun, but a good knight knows how to ride a horse."

[Blaze]

Blaze wanders up, looking around at the old western street.

"Wow... this is pretty awesome! What's going on?"

[Knight Errant]

Dact looks around seeing Sara! "Oh! Well thank you. Can you find me a horse?" She asks. "Then perhaps the two of us can ride it unless you can find more than one." She glances over... to suddenly see a Blaze! "Ah! We are about to head off to deal with some bandits. Care to join?"

[Blaze]

"Whoa, real bandits? Hell yeah, count me in! Hang on, let me put on more appropriate clothes."

Blaze swaps her standard dress for a cowgirl outfit!

The girl in the dress nodded, and brought over three horses (Two of which used to be cars and the other a motorcycle) for the three. Sara saddled up hers quickly.

[Knight Errant]

"Awesome." Grins Dact as she saddles up! "Right... I'm guessing the Sherrifs is where the police station was... lets go!"

[Blaze]

Blaze mounts the former motorcycle horse, a wide grin on her face. Might be hard to see past the scarf though.

"Yeah! Let's get going!"

Inside, he finds a man on piano and several saloon girls.

"What are you doing?" One of the men asked, "Don't you know the Banditas are coming?"

Blaze mounts the former motorcycle horse, a wide grin on her face. Might be hard to see past the scarf though.

"Yeah! Let's get going!"

"Awesome." Grins Dact as she saddles up! "Right... I'm guessing the Sherrifs is where the police station was... lets go!"

Sara follows the two, riding down to a building that read "Sheriff's Office" on the door.

A young man was sitting on the porch.

"You the little ladies here to help us with the Banditas?" He asked

[Blaze]

"Hang on, I've been working on my accent for just such an occasion..."

Blaze clears her through and puts on a gruff voice.

"Darn tootin' sherrif!"

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"How do, ladies." The Sheriff greeted, "I'm Dick Callahan and my Deputy inside is Erica Dean. And let me tell you, we sure could use a hand."

[Blaze]

Blaze produces a revolver and twirls it in her hand.

"Well, ah reckon ah could lend you mah gun."
