Learn The Basics of *insert martial arts here*

[Blaze]

In Muffinville Park there is a wooden stall. Written on it in red paint is the words, "Learn the Basics of any Martial Art Style You Want." However, the stall is unmanned at the moment

But who's that? Logos! And Blaze! The latter has a handgun in her right hand and is supporting it with her left, which also holds a combat knife with a serrated spine. Logos seems to be instructing the girl

"... so when I throw a punch, do what I showed you. Ready?"

Blaze nods and Logos throws a punch at her! Blaze steps inside her guard, turning around as she does. She hooks the spine of her knife onto Logos's arm, wrapping her other arm around it. Hooking her left foot around Logos's left foot, she pulls it out from under her, pulling on her arm and bending low. Logos is pulled over Blaze's shoulder and is slammed onto the ground on her back!

[Feng]

A student appears!

A skinny fellow dressed in a blue silk jacket, a pale skinned man approaches the stall.


".... ...." o.O

[Blaze]

Logos looks at the student as Blaze releases her.

"Give me 1000 throat slashes while I deal with him."

Blaze nods and assumes the stance again, slashing out with the blade of the knife as Logos goes to stand behind the stall.

"Welcome. Here to learn? Any particular style?"

[Feng]

The man, a curious fellow with scaly skin, tilts his head in a confused manner.

"You offer ANY style of Martial Art?" he asks, scratching his arms as scales fall off. "What about the Chinese Kung Fu styles?"

[Blaze]

Logos smirks and nods.

"Those I am especially knowledgeable in."

Blaze looks over and spots the falling scales.

"That some kind of skin condition?" she calls over, still practicing her slashing

[Feng]

"Something like that" says the guy in hushed voice.

[Blaze]

Logos snaps her finger right in front of the boy's face!

"Over here. What style do you want to learn?"

"Er... sorry." Blaze says, going back to her practice

[Feng]

"Serpent style" hisses the man, flashing his tongue in a comical fashion. "Unless you also can teach me how to use tessenjutsu..."

[Blaze]

"I am skilled in both. However, I must ask: what do you want to do with any skills you might learn here?" Logos asks, a serious gleam in her eyes

[Feng]

The man pauses, scratching his head.

"To be honest... I'm not too sure. I think I'm pursuing the art of war partially out of an insatiable curiosity and mostly out of a strange feeling that it just feels right to pursue training in the Martial Arts."

"I know it seems odd but I feel compelled to seek this knowledge. That and...."

He holds out a red Japanese war fan.

"These things don't really make good back scratchers."

[Blaze]

Logos thinks for a moment before nodding. She takes out her own war fan, this one black with a yellow Chinese dragon emblazoned on it.

"Very well. What is your name?"

[Feng]

The man pauses, thinking long and hard.

"Errr.... There are some who call me Xiaoling-No, that is too femenine. Uh... How about Xiang? Too be honest" he says looking distant... "I don't really know what my real name is. Its... complicated."

[Blaze]

Logos nods and leads Xiang to an open area full of grass and unfurls her fan with a quick flick of her wrist

"The essence of tessenjutsu is that the fan is an instrument of subtlety. It appears to be only an accessory associated with women, but in the hands of a tessenjutsu expert, a fan can be used to parry and blind an opponent before striking at them while they are defenceless. I will show you now. Attack me any way you like."

Kandi, the nervous looking dog-trap, seemed to have found his way to this interesting stall. "U-um... I can learn how to fight good here-woof?" He said, looking around, tail wagging, agitated. He appeared to be holding 2 combat fans, one in each hand! His weapons, of course. Although right now he's using one to cool himself off.

Marco Soreli gave a look around as he appeared. "Man... I think I took a wrong turn somewhere."
