An Invitation to Dinner

"Oh? Organizations such as the Chibi Express, no?"

A waiter interrupts the conversation.

"Are you ready to order?"

While many teenagers may look bored and restless during such a meeting, Summer was attentive, her blue eyes shifting back and forth between each party as they spoke, while she occasionally glanced down to her phone-like device to consult, or add to the data she'd been collecting. Now and then little things did seen to cause her some embarrassment however, such as watching the Major swirl wine around her glass. There'd been a time where she'd have taken for granted a glass of wine with her meal, but now it was another of those small things that while not important, reminded her of her new status.

Elly blinks at the sleeping cat. "... Mr. Ambush?" she asks curiously.

*yawns a bit, then mutters in his sleep* Oi, Luffy, stop irritating that puppeteer. Does she look rainbow-colored to you?...

A waiter, noticing Ambush asleep in her gumbo, drapes a towel over her head.

zzz...lotsa steps and columns...most tranquil. Zzz...

Well I shall go I think. Do pardon my intrusion but I had to check in on this. Hm.. perhaps I should take Ambush with me and return him home. Its a better idea than letting him drown in the soup I'm sure.

A waiter interrupts the conversation.

"Are you ready to order?"

"Yes, I would like the to try the shrimp gumbo, since it came most recommended," the major asks the waiter, before turning her attention back to Lord Bones. "Well, perhaps some of them," she admits. "For example, letting you gain control of a facility that contained intercontinental ballistic missiles armed with Green warheads would likely not be a good idea."

"Awww... And I was looking so forward to the opportunity to green the entire financial district by Christmas" says Bones with a grin before turning to the waiter.

"I'll have the same please" says Bones. "Also bring some of your famous biscuits if you please."

Major Durant smiles slightly. "While there's probably more than a few bankers and financial executives that would deserve to end up as bimbos, that does seem a bit indiscriminate." She sips at her tea. "Still, there are worse organizations out there than Chibi Express... take that as you will."

Bones grins.

"Indeed. In fact, I'm pretty sure you have your hands full with some of the more... actively destructive folks about, am I right?"
