Alright. This will just take a moment and a bit of flair... or is it flare? Meh, either way. *Tosses a small ball of energy at the watch that sinks into it and the thing flashes for a brief moment before returning to normal.* There you go. All you have to do to get to the garden is think about wanting to go there and it will open a path for you. When you wish to return it will take you back to where you left unless it isn't safe there. You should be able to find any tools you might need in the garden when you get there.

Also, remember you have this in case trouble comes to you and your siblings. It will help you all escape somewhere safe.

Ellen: ... *nods in satisfaction* I'm alright with that. Thank you very much, godpapa. ... And if you don't mind me asking, do you have any additional seeds I can work with? I used the last of my allowance at my last trip to the bookstore.

Ellen: ...I'm alright with anything, as long as it won't try to eat me. ...In particular, though, I want to try growing a few flowers that typically aren't found in warmer climates.

Ah, I understand. I think I have several of those. Let's see... *He pulls out a basket or three and in them are various labeled packets. Amongst them are black crowberry, quaking aspen, lilac, silverberry, American cranberry-bush, and so on.*

*Ellen, without her usual hesitation, takes one packet each from the first twelve varieties she sees.*

Heh, always fun to try and grow new things. There should be a thermastat in the garden area you will have access to that will let you control the heat of the environment in case any of those really need it to be very cold.

Ellen: *nods* ...I understand. Does it affect the entire garden, or can it be set for individual plants as well?

It can be set individually though it is probably better to keep at least a row around similar temperatures to minimize influence of one plant on the others environment.

Ellen: ...Alright, that makes sense. I'll take good care of these..
...
...Not to change the topic, but I just realized that I could've just summoned Elk to me instead of chasing after him. *facepalms*

Hindsight and all that. Besides, not all kids can summon their siblings in the literal sense so its an easy thing to forget.

Ellen: *pockets the packets* ...Still, I should've known better. ...I mean, it's not like anyone else answers to "yellowfin tuna" ---BAAHH!

*This last noise was due to Elk rocketing onto her back at maximum velocity, bowling her over.*

Elk: *turning his head every which way* Tuna? Where's a tuna?! Feed the catboy! Feed it, feed it!

Ellen: *coughs* ... I don't know if anyone has used this as the basis for a materia summon, but if they have, I hope I never meet them.
