The Admiral Says...

[Reposting because apparently the last post I made is invisible.]

Alex sits up with a tiny groan, her eyes swirling about in her head.

"Wah~ Diiiizzy..." X___X

She rapidly shakes her head from left to right to clear her head and stands up, dusting her coat off. She takes a look at the mansion and the surrounding hills with wide eyes

"Wooooooooow! THis place looks neat! C'mon, let's have an adventure!"

Without waiting for an answer, she grabs Elliot's hand and drags him to the mansion doors, knocking on them loudly.

Bostwick finds himself awakening in a sunlit meadow, birds chirp, and the clouds drift lazily over head. There are a few rabbits off few dozen feet away, munching on some flowers. It's a tranquil and serene place. From where he lays, he can't see much... but he might already have a sense of just how peaceful and relaxing of a place this field is. In the distance, he can hear a gentle brook... babbling away as it washes over smooth stones. He could just fall asleep again! But why should he? There is adventure to be had! ...hopefully!

Bostwick looks around in amazement, and -- almost instantly -- starts to run around in excitement. "This place is so beautiful-cheep!" He runs around for a moment before charging towards the brook!

[The Shadow]

his eyes blinking open wide, the Shadow freezes for a moment, before quickly sitting up! Where...was he?

Slipping off of the bed, he takes only a second to adjust his scarf, before scanning the room. Any sign of a door?

[A Belated Brand New Day]

The large oak double doors loom over Alex and Elliot! The knocking is rewarded with... deathly silence! In fact, for a moment it seems as if the entire world is silent... save for their breathing and the beatings of their hears. The large mansion towers over them, as if waiting and watching... as if contemplating swallowing them whole.

Oh well! They might just have to go inside! No one is home!

The driftwood isn't that difficult to find. In addition, the jungle behind him seems to have plenty of branches and twigs about -- he can reach them without going to far in. If he continues to just focus on the wood, he'll have a nice pile going in a short order! That wasn't too difficult! It takes him several hours, but he'll get done before sunset -- or by the position of the sun it looks like it's only middle of the afternoon. He could take a nap again. Or go for a swim. Walk along the beach. Contemplate life, the universe, and everything. ...there is an entire island out there for him explore! Or preparing the signal fire is also a good plan.

As for Bostwick? The brook is at the edge of the meadow -- marking the border between it and the dark looking forest. Small shrimp like things crawl along the bottom, as fish swim merrily about. The water is crystal clear, being as transparent as glass. It looks cool and inviting! There are some ducks a ways down, even likely nesting nearby. Reeds and flowers grow along the bank -- not that many shrubs or trees on this side of the water.

There is a door alright! It's on the far wall, and there looks to be a button labeled 'open' on it. The factory around him thrums with life still.

"Guess nobody's hooooooome." o____o

Alex pens the door and runs inside, looking around eagerly!

"Wooooow, that's awesome!" Bostwick let out as he poked the clear water in amazement.

Elliot was tugged inside, just behind Alex, "We shouldn't be doing this!", he warned, the silence making him uneasy. "This is somebody's home... ", he sighed, his blue eyes looking up and around all the same as they crossed through the door.

The Shadow frowns slightly...not that anyone could see anyways, were there someone watching, as he is wearing a rather concealing scarf. Regardless though...well, he's not getting anywyhwere staying here...so open it is.

After gathering up enough wood for his signal fire, Alan is tired. The water looks inviting as well as the blights of a nap on the beach..."Well maybe a quick swim before taking a nap." he says aloud before shucking his shirt and shoes and heading into the water.((After all gathering wood is sweaty work......))
