A Lever

[Lola]

Out in Muffinville park, a little platform appears... which wasn't there a day ago. On the platform, is a lever. By the lever, is a sign.

The sign reads, simply, "Do not pull this lever."

[Feng]

Lord Bones, Criminal Mastermind, walks by the tempting lever, briefing pausing to read the sign.

"Well, well, well," he says adjusting his monocle. "What is this?"

Glancing shiftily to the left, then to the right, then back to the left for good measure...

With a twirl of his cane, Bone flips the lever.

"Safety first!" he exclaims to nobody in particular.

[Jello Shot Mischa]

Mischa approaches the platform, and frowns at the lever and it's sign. "Oh... a logical quandary, is it? Or just reverse psychology?"

Of course, Lord Bones beats him to the punch. "Aww, I was going to try not pulling it, to see if anything happened."

[Victorious]

"No--wai--gah! Can't you read?"

Victor rests his face on his hand, stepping out from behind Mr. Particular (first name Nobody).

[Feng]

"I'm quite literate dear boy" says Bones glaring at Victor. "I refuse, however, to be ruled by a mere sign! Its the Patriotic thing to do you know!"

[Jello Shot Mischa]

Mischa peers at Lord Bones. "Anarchist, or simply disestablishmentarianism?"

[Victorious]

The man pales.

"Is...is that how this country works? Was there a revolution against signs?"

[Maiden Miki]

"What is going on here?" asked Don as he walks over and notice the lever.

[Lola]

The lever is pulled! There is a little distortion, as the air around Bones glows green and black... and then he vanishes! The lever resets itself soon afterwards. Exuding a aura of innocence.

Meanwhile, a certain Criminal Mastermind would find himself in a darkly lit room! The walls made out of somewhat corroded metal. A loudspeaker up near the ceiling crackles to life... an amused female voice speaking.

"Well that was quick... we have our first visitor! Hmm... and he looks rather dapper, too... Well, dapper dan... you have been chosen as a candidate for minionization! Any questions before we begin~?"

[Maiden Miki]

"Okay...So what just happen?" asked Don as he looked at the sign and then at the lever. He was leaning over it. "Something tells me that this is some sort of teleportation device?"

[Feng]

"Yess" hisses the Criminal Mastermind glaring up at loudspeaker. "For starters would you care to explain this locale? You should fire your interior designer."

Ashley blinks a bit as he appears next to Don. "... what's going on here?"

"Something about not pulling a lever," said Don as he looked at the lever. "It seems like it would teleport you somewhere as punishment if you do so. At least that what I can tell from the last chap that pulled it."

"Seems people are too curious for their own good..." He muttered.

[Lola]

Nothing more happens in the park. The lever continues to sit, placidly. The sign remaining unchanged.

Meanwhile, Bones hears a chuckle. "I worked with what I had... but if thats all you have to say, feel free to enter the room past the door in front of you!" She says, as he would indeed see... a door. Or an outline of one. It has no handle. But walking up to it would reveal it is a sliding door, Star Trek style. Though it isnt nearly as thin... more of a sliding blast door.
