Attention Fimbulvtr!

[Feng]

"Indeed. It's a small wonder that the opportunistic among us haven't yet the heavens yet. Perhaps some time in the near futu-Oh. Food's here."

The waiter returns with Fimbulvtr and Bone's order.

"Who had the beef noodles?"

[Blaze]

"I did." Fimbulvetr says to the waiter

[Feng]

"Very good then, that's the beef noodles for the lovely lady and the seafood gumbo for the gentleman."

The waiter hands the two their order.

"Is there anything else I can get you two today?"

[Blaze]

Fimbulvetr shakes er head at the waiter.

"I am fine thank you."

[Feng]

Bones raises his glass aloft towards Fimbulvtr.

"I propose a toast! Here's to our future operation! Skoal!"

[Blaze]

Fimbulvetr raises her own glass and clinks it against Bones's

"Indeed. Cheers."

[Feng]

Bones grins widely, before enjoying the fishy goodness of his soup.

"So, Miss Fimbulvtr, now that you're aware of my little scheme, might I ask if there is something I can do for you in the near future? Surely a villain of your caliber must have some scheme developing in your mind!"

[Blaze]

Fimbulvetr nibbles her chilli beef and nods.

"Indeed I do, but I must protest to the use of 'villain.' All my schemes have a net gain of happiness at the end. I believe that makes me a hero."

[Feng]

"I meant no offense" says Bones. "Its just that judging from your profession and reputation, you seem to fit the archetype. To each his own though."

"You know..." says Bones, breaking off a piece of french bread and dipping it in his gumbo, "By your logic I suppose in the grand scheme of things that I might not be a villain either."

He offers her the loaf.

[Blaze]

Fimbulvetr accepts the loaf and nibbles it, nodding slowly

"Perhaps. You provide jobs for several Chibi. However, you also flooded the city by blowing up a dam."

She smirks.

[Feng]

"Ah, but what I did, what I still do, is for the benefit of the city. Society needs a little chaos and mayhem. Otherwise things grow dull and static."

He sips his tea.

"So in the grand scheme of things, I suppose both of us serve a vital role for the city, non?"

[Blaze]

"I would say that this city is rarely static for long, with or without you, but perhaps..."

Fimbulvetr takes a mouthful of chilli brrf and chews it carefully.

[Feng]

"Oh the city is certainly random by itself, don't get me wrong" says Bones. "The citizens here are always up to something, be it scheming to increase the number of XX chromosomes in the populace or tricking gullible tourists into eating colored fruit. Don't get me wrong. In fact, I dare say that the city itself, Muffinville, could very well be a sentient entity of its own, completely capable of operating on its own even if all of us were to drop dead this very second. Its quite magnificent really.

"The mundanity I crusade against is not the kind brought about by inaction but rather from absolute authority. By promoting chaos and disorder I like to think that I am thumbing my nose at those who believe they can make the city bend to their will. Make these invincible gods bleed if you will. That way they might learn humility."

Fimbulvtr might feel a tingle trickle down her spine.

[Blaze]

"Ah... and may I assume that that tingle I felt is your way of thumbing your nose at me?"

Fimbulvetr stops chewing and glares at Bones with her single visable eye.

[Feng]

"I wouldn't worry about that" says Bones, using his napkin to wipe his face. "I wouldn't dare offending my partner with such antics, would I?"

He offers another loaf to Fimbulvtr.

"Chibi cuisine is known to be extremely spicy. I suppose I should have warned you about that before you ordered the noodles."

Indeed Fimbulvtr's tongue does appear to be on fire! What exactly did the chef put in her meal?!

"I find the bread helpful," says Bones. "Otherwise you'll feel the effects long after the meal..."
