Too small? Err... She dodges a tentacle and grins as it begins to snow... But the snowflakes slowly convert into razor-sharp needles that fall in a torrent on top of the monster!

Sadly, once again, the frog's skin is too think for the ice to penetrate. It gets closer... closer... closer...

Until a massive jet of flame hits it in the back, diverting it's attention!

"What now?!" Lance cries, clearly upset - though whether it was at this sudden turn or events or the fact that her attack had been useless was uncertain.

Within her mind, an idea forms... by making huge columns of ice with sharp ends emerge from the ground, she could skewer the beast and keep it still!

Not a bad plan, actually. She focuses, her eyes flashing blue again as said massive pillars erupt from the ground directly below the beast.

The ice stabs deep, causing gray blood to splatter everywhere! THe beast shrieks as another blast of fire hit it, melting the ice and causing the blood to flow faster!

Lance grins. That went well... But still. She sends a few ice blades to decapitate the thing's limbs for good measure. For all she knew, it would regenerate if they didn't make sure to kill it...

At the same time, a flaming blue pinwheel flies around slicing off several of the beast's tentacles! The beast screams with fury and sends it's remaining tentacles flying at Lance and her mysterious ally!

Lance dashes towards the charging tentacles and leaps over the tip, landing at the base of the appendage. A flash of light illuminates the air as a solid, razor-sharp pane of ice forms above the tentacle before plummeting towards the joint like a guillotine.

The ice slices of the tip, but another tentacle grabs the girl and squeezes her tightly, keeping her from escaping!

...Well, crap. The foxgirl struggles, but apparently even her new form's strength couldn't fight this ridiculous frog squid thing. She cries out in pain, hoping that whoever - or whatever - had been tossing fire around earlier was still watching...

She hears a loud scream as her ally is caught too! She is slowly brought in front of the beast's mouth, the stench of his breath overpowering. She can see another, younger foxgirl also wrapped in a tentacle next to her as the beast starts inhaling. She can feel something deep inside herself being pulled out, her vision going dark as it is.

She can see another, younger foxgirl also wrapped in a tentacle next to her as the beast starts inhaling. She can feel something deep inside herself being pulled out, her vision going dark as it is.

Crap... Crap... Craaaaap... Her mind was struggling to keep up as she squirmed in the monster's grip. There had to be something she could do... She did NOT want to be an innocent casualty of a monster attack!

From the sounds coming from the girl next to her, the same thing was happening to her. Soon, Lance felt like she was being dragged out of her body and into the frog's mouth!
