Indeed. That or sit and have some tea I suppose. Heavens know that is how some forms of marriage brokering occur. The lady meets her prospective betrothed for tea in a natural surrounding of beauty in order to see how they might get along and to assure the man has proper manners and decorum.

I may have lived through this era properly but I will admit I was usually more interested in invading these things or occasionally protecting them than the affairs of courts. Which might explain why I kept getting drawn and quartered?
