Elliot blushed a little more, "I think I have a bit more willpower than you think, Lady", he said, folding his arms across his chest as he met her gaze. "I chose to do what you said, and could have no if I'd wanted!".

[Vulpina]

"I suppose so but I'm gifted with a silver and honeyed tongue child. I can talk most anyone into anything if I wish it. Besides, you want to point out you could have resisted when he comes a calling? I would think it would be preferable to play along."

[Harri-chan]

"He's not here, so I'm just letting you know you couldn't get ME to do abything you wanted. And stop calling me child! I know you've probably been around forever like Raleigh, but that doesn't make me a child!", he said, huffing and lifting his arms to fold across his chest.

[Raleigh]

*Vulpina chuckles as she tosses the capsule behind Elliot.* Vulpina: You were right. This one is somewhat willful. I'll deal with that though.

*Raleigh's voice comes from behind Elliot.* Raleigh: I know right? *His arm reaches into Elliot's field of view to catch the capsule.* This was a fun set up though. A shame you won it. I was hoping he would be a bit more loyal.

Vulpina: Heh, that gives me 3 billion and 780 thousand points.

Raleigh: Just say you are four points ahead. The observers don't care how many times we've played.

[Harri-chan]

Elliot looked confused as she started to speak with another, and then groaned when Raleigh replied. He blushed at Vulpina's comment about his will, and turned to look guiltily at Raleigh, "You know I like a beautiful woman, Boss... it was unfair...", he tried to explain.

[Raleigh]

And I've told you at least once, recently in fact, that a weakness like that can be used against you.

Vulpina: Now now, don't be so harsh on him. You know I've charmed emperors into ruin before.

Raleigh: Aye. Anyway what she said is true. You'll be working for her now and acting as something of a monitor on my actions for the council she sits on. I'm higher in rank by pure combat and magic power but she is part of a group that determines some of our rules. I screw up and they put limitations on my abilities.

Vulpina: And while we've restored you to full power since you've paid off your past crimes we are still worried you will intervene in mortal concerns too much. You really do get too close to them you know. Also, did you really have to shave my dear little emissary? I'm going to have to listen to her whine about her missing tail until it grows back.

[Harri-chan]

"Okay... and what did she mean by she'll 'deal with' my willfulness? I don't like the sound of that!".

[AmbushCat]

*Returning to behind the counter and putting down an electric razor, Raleigh turns to Ambush.* Do you think I might have went too far there? *He holds up a pelt.* Also, how much you think I could sell this for?

*chuckling* That was pretty good. *ponders this* For that size... I'd say the equivalent of $25, whatever that is in HL.

[Raleigh]

Thank you. Hm.. I suppose I could charge more if I charm it or something. Perhaps a transformative pelt.

**At Elliot's Place****
Raleigh: Heh.

Vulpina: Just that I will help you with learning to keep on task rather than pointing out unneeded details that will only get you in trouble. Sort of like how its a bad idea, particularly when lying, to provide more details than needed.

Raleigh: That and she isn't as nice as I am in dealing with those that work for her. The worst I'll do is kill and then reincarnate you. She tends to prefer a harsher punishment system.

Vulpina: So you say.

Raleigh: I think making them spend a month as a towel in a woman's bath house is a bit much.

Vulpina: I only did that four times.

[Harri-chan]

"Woah, that sounds like an awesome way to spend a month!", grinned Elliot, "All those beautiful women... oh man".

[Raleigh]

*Mentally to Vulpina.* Should I explain it was a retirement home's woman's bath?

Vulpina: Ugh, his thoughts are a bit vulgar.

Raleigh: Yeah. Don't get your hopes up kid. She did that to a guy who deserved it. The way you are picturing it would only be used on you if you were hard gay or something. She loves using punishments that make the victim squirm. In your case it would likely be a towel for a man's bath.

Vulpina: Or a jock strap.

Raleigh: You are as disturbing as ever.

*shrugs* Perhaps. So, I noticed that another of the higher-uppers is in town.

[Harri-chan]

"Well, there's worse things to be... ", he shrugged.

[Raleigh]

Actually three of them are. Fox is just the one making a spectacle of a bet with me. Bear is out there purchasing something from another shop and currently Raven is trying to win me forging a weapon for him at my casino.

***With Elliot***
Vulpina: I'll keep that attitude in mind.

Raleigh: I think she just pointed out on quitting while you are ahead. Well then, I've got stuff to do. You two kids have fun. *He turns into smoke and fades away.*

Vulpina: Just because you are a whole minute older doesn't mean you can call me a kid you old snaggle toothed wolf.

[Harri-chan]

"Yeah, and same goes for you calling ME a kid", said Elliot to Vulpina once they were alone, arms folded across his chest.
