Dact... presses the button! While his clone cackles at the possibilities... stashing the weapon.

[Feng]

Fwoooosh!

One of the bookcases, the obvious choice for a secret passage if any, slides open revealing a hidden doorway. Inside is a small chamber with a black portable laptop and various filing cabinets.

[AmbushCat]

The maids scramble for cover (except for the entrapped maid of course) letting the two siblings duke it out.

*The two combatants jump apart, growling. A bit of chewed bubblegum can be seen clinging to Eebon's fur, and she tugs at it absently.*

Nobee: You know what I think would be fun? Vandalizing your babysitter's wardrobe, that's what. Gaw!

Eebon: You wouldn't dare!

Nobee: Oh, I'd dare. And you know what else I'd like to do? Turn this building into a replica of the moon's surface. C'mon, it'll be funny. Gaw!

*Nobee starts to form a ball of dark energy in her hands, but Eebon quickly shuts her mouth around her hand... causing the evil clone to yelp, waving her arm frantically in an effort to shake her off. The sight, in retrospect, in a bit comical.*

Dact looks over. "Huh..." he goes into the small room to see if there is an emergency escape route inside there somewhere... meanwhile the clone, who could use a name sometime the author feels inspired, grins... going through and stashing the files, computer, and other valuable looking things!

[Feng]

Narrator:

And thus did Valvados scour through Lord Bone's personal things, desecrating the sanctity of the villain's privacy. In his avarice, the fiendish replica comes across all manner of curiosities including:

-Files labeled <Operation: Iguazu-Completed>, <Operation: The Pinemango Plot-Completed>, <Operation: Frosty>, <Operation: Caduceous (A photo of a blond girl is attached)> <Schematic: Nidhogg Cannon>, <Operation: Avatar-ABORTED>
-A black CD labeled C-Cell Program.
-A map of Muffinville with various sections of the city marked by X's and O's
-An autographed picture of a scantily clad red head smiling seductively. She appears to be inside a nightclub.
-A curious doll with green hair (There is something oddly familiar about her...)

As for our hero, there does not appear to be any readily visible escape hatch, evacuation route, ETC. However, there is a suspicious set of keys hanging on a nearby table as well as what appears to be an outdated cellphone with a GPS attached to it.


As the two adorable kitties duke it out feline to feline, the sound of a can opener rings through the kitchen.

Eebon: Mine! *breaks free of Nobee and leaps at the can opener*

Nobee: Oh no, you're not! Gaw! *jumps after her, dark energy forming in her hand* It's mine!

Volvados leafs through the operation files... hmmming... he will have to read these in full later. He stashes the CD, and the map after a second's thought. He oggles the red head... but eventually leaves it. And finally comes to the doll. "Hmmm?" He says, picking it up to look closer at it.

Meanwhile, Dact takes the keys! And the cellphone... flipping the latter open curiously. "Wonder where we are..." He says.

[Feng]

Unfortunately for Valvados, the files are all written in code. It will be almost impossible to read unless he finds the cypher. Of course, he could try cracking it...

As for the doll Valvados may notice a strange energy coming from within... Most strange!

The cellphone device depicts a map of the entire city. A flashing dot appears out over the Bay. What could that mean?


The maid opening a can of tuna dives for cover as the two cats approach at top speed!

"Eep!" O_o

The clone shrugs. He can work on the code later. Meanwhile, he looks over the doll closer! "Curious..."

Meanwhile, Dact blinks. "If this means what I think it might... getting out of here could be difficult..." Says Dact...imagining them to be in some kind of underwater base. He closes the phone and looks around the place some more. Bones entered here... he couldn't have evaporated into thin air.

[AmbushCat]

"Eep!" O_o

*Eebon lands close by and tries to get the tuna can, but is crashed into by Nobee!*

Eebon: That tuna was for me, right, miss maid? Say it was for me! Gaw!

Nobee: No, it was mine! You're too goody-goody-girly-girly to just up and grab it instead of asking for it! Gaw!

*The two of them continue to roll around and fight, although this time Nobee seems to be actively trying to drag that specific maid into the brawl*

[Feng]

The study appears to be a dead end, the only other door, besides the one leading to the secret room, is the one leading back to the hallway.

Hmmm... Most eerie!

The doll is quite detailed, depicting a voluptuous female. As he continues to examine the item, the clone might just notice a leak of strange energy coming from the doll's seams. To the clone it might seem strange or alien, but to Dact, no doubt a constant victim of color transformation from certain entities, would probably recognize it... assuming he's paying any attention to his evil twin that is.


The maid screams, dropping the tuna to the floor, before running off shouting in Korean. Something about demon cats? Curious.

Dact hurmphs... whatever door Bones used to escape was too well hidden... or perhaps he teleported... either way staring around wasnt getting them anywhere. Finally he looks to his twin. "Lets get out of here..." He pauses as he notices the doll... "What do you have there?" He asks.

Volvados starts at the question... stashing the doll away inside his armor. "Nothing..." He says. He could test the doll later to find its secrets... it had to be valuable.

Dact raises an eyebrow. "Be careful... this stuff is probably dangerous..." To which Volvados huffs. "Enough of that... have you found a way out yet?" To which the knight replies. "No... I think he made off..."

Volvados frowns. "Then we waste our time here..." He says, heading out into the hallway to look for another path! Dact pauses a moment, shrugs, and follows.

[AmbushCat]

The maid screams, dropping the tuna to the floor, before running off shouting in Korean. Something about demon cats? Curious.

Nobee: Hah! I doubt you know what a demon is, woman! Gaw!

*Weird, considering that the evil twin isn't supposed to understand Korean...*

Eebon: Leave her out of this! *trying to keep her ears from being chewed on* She was trying to feed us, and you ruined it! Gaw!

Nobee: Well, then we'll compromise: I'll eat it, and you thank her for it!

*Nobee finally gets a hold of her goody-goody original self and hurls her in the direction that the maid had fled in*

[Feng]

As Volvados leaves the room the Map, along with any paper files he chose to pilfer, spontaneously combust into blue flame, no doubt a fail-safe method to ensure that Bone's secrets don't leave the installation. The flames are not necessarily painful though, being surprisingly cold to the touch. The strange doll though passes without incident as does the CD.

In the hallway, the dynamic Ying Yang duo find themselves facing the same doorway that leads back into the cloning facility.

Curious.

From the look of things, it would appear that Sir Dact and his evil twin have been trapped inside a small, two room base without any noticeable means of entry or escape. Yet how can this be? Surely there must be some means of escape, especially if Bones and his minions (the unconscious Chibiwanbanshu from earlier have vanished in true ninja fashion) have been able to outmaneuver the two.

Outside a school of fish pass by the windows of hallway, floating aimlessly about as fish tend to do.


"What's all this shouting about Demon Cats!" says Bones, entering the kitchen with a double barreled shot gun. "I thought the exorcist took care of that problem!"

He turns his attention to Eebon, Nobee, and the poor maid trapped in the melee (who is defending herself as best she can with a squirt bottle).

"Oh, its just two cats fighting over some tuna. Ladies, what did I say about bringing in strays to the underwater base?"

Volvados pats his armor as the blue flames consume him... noticing the files burning. "Damn..." he mutters... but contents himself with the CD and the doll.

Dact pauses... looking at the room they left... and the cloning facility. "Well... this is bad..." He mutters. "We might be stuck."

Volvados rolls his eyes. "Lets just smash that window, find another window... then smash that one!" He says simply, walking over to said window and cracking it with his I-Beam. While Dact stares... "Are you sure your thinking this through?"
