Circe's Manor THE NEXT

After rubbing his head for a bit, he slowly managed to get up. it still hurt and gave him a slight headache, thought what agitated him the most was how embarrassing it was....
He checks if no one was still staring or looking in his general direction and then started to slowly but carefully head in the dinning hall. Looking around and selecting a small table somewhere secluded, he didn't want to draw too much attention to himself now after what happened.

He checks if no one was still staring or looking in his general direction and then started to slowly but carefully head in the dinning hall. Looking around and selecting a small table somewhere secluded, he didn't want to draw too much attention to himself now after what happened.

*It takes a moment, but eventually one of the maids notices Dan at the table and comes over to greet him.* Hey there. You, ah, need someone to get food for you?

Still being a bit sensitive about the earlier incident, feeling around his head, hoping it won't leave a mark or anything.
"O-Oh, um, hi.. Uh.. sorry, I'm new here. Am I supposed to.. go to the kitchen and bring something back here or do maids usually do that?.. I.. I'm not sure", never lived in a house with maids before, not sure what the rules or courtesy where in such a place.

*Ellen nods off in her chair while she waits for Dulcinea to return.*

Still being a bit sensitive about the earlier incident, feeling around his head, hoping it won't leave a mark or anything.
"O-Oh, um, hi.. Uh.. sorry, I'm new here. Am I supposed to.. go to the kitchen and bring something back here or do maids usually do that?.. I.. I'm not sure", never lived in a house with maids before, not sure what the rules or courtesy where in such a place.

Well, you can kind of do either... I mean, most of here are maids, y'know? The roles are kinda interchangeable.

"Ahh, umm... I see", rubbing his head still a little, "I think... I rather sit still here for a while, could you maybe bring me some orange juice-- " he suddenly recalls a bit of talking about to be careful of weird fruits, "Eh! No actually... rather some milk.. yeah.. regular cow milk.. with umm.. cornflakes! Yeah both the regular non-magical kind.. if possible?... Please?"
Well, that came out more awkward than he'd like... But he wasn't really a morning person in general... Just rather start the day with something common that he was used to.. or well close enough.

[Ookalf]

Just plain-Jane milk and cornflakes? Sounds doable. Be back in a sec! *And just like that, the maid happily waltzes off to the kitchen.*

"Ah, yeah just--.." and the maid was gone, oh well...
Dan takes a careful look at the maid as she leaves, just to recognize her when she comes back.

As he watches around a bit, just looking at the people walking by and those seated at the tables, just to see if he can spot some of the people he met yesterday.

*Upon closer examination, Dan doesn't think she'll be too hard to pick out of the crowd - after all, that much green tends to stand out. As for familiar faces, he does spot a few people from the party, as well as May, the maid who first greeted him at the door.*

*Dulcinea returns with Ellen's meal, tapping her a few times to get her attention. As the maid leaves, Ellen yawns softly and looks around blearily before shrugging and starting on eating.*

Dan looks at his phone, checking his messages.
Maybe he should gather around some more phone numbers for.. emergencies? Yeah, just to be safe of course, in case of trouble. The fact that most of those contacts would be of cute girls has nothing to do with it...
But who else would he ask?... He wasn't just going to walk up to random maids and ask for their number.. that would be very awkward. Oh, how about that redhead, the first person of the manor he met? What was her name again? Mary... no.. May maybe? They were nice enough, though a bit tired back then.. maybe they are more well-rested now, he should go check.
Getting up from his seat, it will likely take a bit before the maid in green shows up, so he slowly goes and approaches the redhead, "U-Ummm, hi there?"

*No reply from Penny just yet... But back with May, Dan's greeting successfully draws her attention away from her coffee.* Oh, hey. You're the guy from yesterday, right? What's up? Judging by the fact that you're still here looking like that, I'd assume things with Miss Circe went well...

"Eh, umm yeah, it's me... I'm.. Dan by the way... You are May, right?", unsure what she meant with that last comment.. but imagining that people upsetting Circe could lead to some unpleasant results.. noticing the smell of burned toast around.. hmm yeah.. good things went well there.. "Y-yeah.. things went well. Not toasty at all--.. Well erm..", quickly but not smoothly changing the topic, "If you have a number, I need it!... Erm... I mean.. for like emergency contacts... Oh, and I mean phone number.. not like maid number.. not sure if you have but..", he continues to mumble not sure how to stop this question

Yeah, I'm May. Nice to meet you... My number? *May shrugs.* Sure, why not? Most of us have each other's numbers anyway. *She then gives Dan her number! That was easy.*

Dan smiles looking at the number on his phone, sending a test-text to make sure it was correct and also to give her his number, "Thanks a lot, May. Umm, I guess I see you around?"
Going back to his table, it likely won't be long before the maid in green would come back.
