Ellen: ...Yes. I figured I had enough time for breakfast before Mom came to take us home.

[xGoggles]

"Ah, going soon then?", he looks back on the map again, they were getting close. "So umm, do you know what they usually serve for breakfast here?"

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ...Pretty much everything conceivable. I'm partial to scrambled eggs myself.

[xGoggles]

Dan thinks for a bit, what would be 'conceivable' in this world? "Umm, so nothing like dragon's heart or troll's ear... right??...", it might sound like a silly question but you never know in a strange world like this.

[Ookalf]

*Dan overhears a maid muttering to herself as she makes her way to breakfast.* Oh, I hope they have those dragon egg omelets today...

[xGoggles]

He gives a small sigh, "figures..." Though thinking back at dinner at the banquet hall, there was 'normal' food there too, so he shouldn't be all that worried.

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: *raises an eyebrow* ...Don't look too worried. Everyone here is human, or at the very least somewhat humanoid.

*The orange-haired catgirl maid from the previous evening (sporting a name tag reading "Drew") walks past, carrying a tray with some French toast and orange juice. Attached to her ankle is the little felinoid that was hugging her face before, sound asleep. The maid looks as if she's one minor mishap away from swearing up a storm.*

Ellen: ...Though humanoid might be stretching it in some cases.

Drew: I'm not a morning person, alright? Leave me alone.

[xGoggles]

"Thanks... Just hope I don't get any magical allergic-reaction or anything...", shudders at the thought of growing some extra arms just for eating something he wasn't supposed to.

Just becomes increasing more quiet just not to upset the catgirl maid.

*Ellen waits until Drew and Ezekiel are long gone before replying. They're not too far from the kitchen by now.*

Ellen: ...As long as proper precautions are taken, I doubt it'll be an issue.

[xGoggles]

Unsure if he should feel more reassured about that, "Has that ever been an issue...?"

[Ookalf]

*Dan could find out soon enough, as the door to the kitchen/dining hall is now right before him!*

[xGoggles]

If only he wasn't looking right at the map at that point... BAM~! Smashing his head into the door got to hurt. He falls to the ground on his butt, still conscious, holding his hands on his forehead, yowling in pain. "AAAaaoooouuch~... BAH!... that stings...owwwiiicchhhhhyyy...."

Ellen: *sighs, shaking her head* ...Humanity is in their hands, ladies and gentlemen. *pulls open the door and walks on in*

[Ookalf]

*And the dining hall is before them! It's a fairly spacious room, as could be expected, with dining tables of various sizes scattered about. Off to one side is an open door leading into the kitchen, through which maids are constantly coming going with food to either deliver or eat for themselves, either here or elsewhere in the manor. It all seems pretty nice, actually.*

Ellen: *picks a small circular table near the door they walked through* ...Dulcinea?

*One nearby maid, a gray fox-esque beast-woman (with emphasis on 'beast') who was finishing up a sausage bagel, hears Ellen's voice and hops to her feet.*

Dulcinea: Hey, Ambush's kid! Scrambled eggs and Tang, right?

Ellen: ...Could you? I don't feel like getting it myself this time.

Dulcinea: Gotcha. Anything for your dazed boyfriend over there? *gestures at Dan*

Ellen: ... -_- *pulls a deck of cards out of her sleeve*

Dulcinea: *sweatdrops a little* Eh-heh-heh-heh... I'll just get your food now. *skedaddles off to the kitchen*
