Circe's Manor THE NEXT

[xGoggles]

"Ah, umm yeah... I think I'm fine for now. Thanks again for accepting me as your student", Dan says quickly lowering his head a few times in brief bows.

[Ookalf]

Very well then. Let's see... Ah, Yoko! Could you come here for a minute? *Circe calls out to another maid hanging out near the DJ station, listening to the music, who soon comes over to the table.*

You need something?

Yes, actually. Could you show my new apprentice here to a spare room?

Yeah, sure. Pretty sure I know where to find one. *Yoko looks to Dan.* You cool with following me?

"Ah, yes, thank you" Dan nods his head at the maid and follows her to where she would take him. Turning around after a few steps to give a gentle wave to Circe, before pulling back his hand fast, thinking how awkward it is to wave someone goodbye in their own house... Face-palming with his notepad, why does he always have to make things so awkward for himself?

[Ookalf]

*Circe just nods to Dan as he leaves, not really saying anything about the wave. Yoko completely ignores it as she leads Dan out of the room and through the halls.* So, you're Aunt Circe's new apprentice, huh? I imagine that's going to be a thing...

[xGoggles]

"Oh, she is your aunt? I didn't know she'd have.. family working here as a maid?..", he was a bit taken aback from this. "And yeah, hopefully, she won't be too hard on me, I'm pretty new at this."

[Ookalf]

Well, she's sort of my aunt. It's complicated. And technically, I'm only here part-time... But yeah, good luck with your lessons and all that. Circe can be a little... intense, I guess.

[xGoggles]

"I kind of got that impression already... She did have other students before, didn't she? Do you think the reasons they didn't show up anymore were because the lessons were too intense?", he asks the maid, hoping she'd know a bit more about Circe's lesson methods.

[Ookalf]

Eh, I wasn't really here for any of that, but I don't think I heard anything like that? *Yoko shrugs.* They might've just gotten tired of it, or something.

[xGoggles]

"Hmm, I see... besides how it'll be, this is likely the best thing to have happened to me so far. I get to have a powerful mage as a teacher, a place of luxury to stay and.. there are a ton of cute girls around here." he slightly blushes at that last part.

[Ookalf]

I'd be careful on that last one, if I were you. Aunt Circe really doesn't like people harassing her maids... Or her, for that matter. *By this point, the two of them have arrived at a door with a blank nameplate beside it.* Anyway, that'll be your room. Just put your hand on that plate, and it'll be registered as yours.

[xGoggles]

"Oh um.. I-I wouldn't dare...", even though he was telling the truth, the tone also sounded a bit defensive.
Moving his hand to the plate, not sure how long he should hold it on it, "Like this, right?"

[Ookalf]

Yep, just like that. *The plate glows for a second, and then Dan's full name appears written on it. The door to the room opens right afterward.* Nice and simple, huh?

[xGoggles]

"Oh.. wow...", feeling a little invaded that the nameplate knows his full name beside him telling anyone out loud; not like it was a big deal of course. "Thank you for taking me to a new room. Umm, Cicre did say I was also allowed to have a mobile phone. Not sure if you have any spare ones in the manor or can just magical poof those up?", he asks the maid, then turns towards the room to give it a good look inside.

[Ookalf]

*Yoko shrugs in response to Dan's question.* That kind of thing's not really my territory... But knowing Circe, I'm sure she'll get you one somehow or another. *The room Dan finds is fairly similar to Eebon's room, minus some of the more personal touches. He's got plenty of space, a nice bed, and even a walk-in closet - not that there's really anything in there at the moment.*

A very big smile appears on his face, even without any of his own stuff in it, the room still looked amazing; he certainly could get used to this. Going over to his bed feeling how soft it was, "Wow, this feels great. Yoko, do you also have a room like this?"
