"Ah! Thank you, mistress!" Maria's tail wags eagerly as she goes over to the food, rapidly piling up a plate of mostly meats and sweets. She hasn't eaten since...well, quite a while anyway! Certainly not since she woke up.

Eebon: True, but I've been here enough times that I at least know the path between my assigned room and the banquet hall. It's a walk, but it's not too bothersome. Gaw.

"Oh nice, I didn't know you know you got your own room and such, how long have you been living here? I mean, how often do you come to visit...umm..." he just follows, making his semi-map, looking around a bit in the hallway for certain details to remember as well.

Don't mention it. *She certainly finds plenty of food there, along with several other maids nearby either gathering food for themselves or simply chatting.*

Marie eats a few bites first, and then looks for someone reasonably friendly-looking. "Um, excuse me...is this, uh...are we in Mistress Circe's house?"

"Oh nice, I didn't know you know you got your own room and such, how long have you been living here? I mean, how often do you come to visit...umm..." he just follows, making his semi-map, looking around a bit in the hallway for certain details to remember as well.

Eebon: A couple times a year on average, though we generally just hang out with the staff instead of bothering Circe all the time. It got to the point where we decided to have a few guest rooms set aside specifically for our use, and she approved our request. Gaw.

The dog-girl nods. "I thought so, since she was here and all...I just sort of woke up in one of the beds here, though. Err, I'm Marie."

"That's fun, guess you can come and visit me while I'm learning new forms of magic then. Ummm, so if you know most of the staff around here then? How are they like? Also does Cicre really need so many maids... I know this place is big but still..."

Eebon: Well, their personalities tend to vary. You have the bog-standard ones that are nice and polite, those with some kind of bizarre quirk or another, or otherwise something unusual about them... for instance, I don't know if you'll be meeting her or not, but the one that tends to me and my siblings is amiable, friendly and forgiving... and she's an android. Gaw.

Eebon: *shrug* You get used to it after awhile. And to answer your other question: yeah, the place is large enough to require a lot of hands. In addition to what you saw above ground, there's also two sub-levels with their fair share of facilities. There's even a bowling alley down there, for crying out loud. Gaw.
