"Well, I'd like to find the nonfiction section and do some 'reading'," says Jaylene, using air quotes. "I should be able to learn a lot of facts that I never had time to read up on or study in detail before. But..I figure we should be able to find at least a few intelligent people there to join the principality."

*Valveta nods.* Makes sense to me. I bet a library would have tons of good witches!

"Mhm." She seems to be in thought for a moment as they walk, and then says, "So, you said you're used to being some kind of hero?"

*Valveta nods.* That's right. Y'know, I fight monsters, help people, defend peace and justice... That sort of thing.

"I'm still not used to that sort of thing being a normal occupation. Are you..from here? I mean, in the sense that a lot of people--myself included--entered or appear to have entered this universe from another one."

Good question. I am not originally from here. I came here from an alternate dimension a couple years ago, and kinda settled in.

Jaylene nods. "Where I'm originally from doesn't have magic or any of the rest of this..insanity.

"..Here we are." They've arrived at one of the city's doubtless numerous public libraries, and the Vizier strides on into the doors.

Well, my old world did have plenty of that, so I guess I already had a weird definition of normal when I got here... *Valveta shrugs as she follows Jaylene in.*

"You want to try them?" says Jaylene, discreetly indicating the teenagers. "I mean, they're not exactly what I had in mind about intelligent people at the library, but there might be some potential there.."

*to be fair there's plenty of positions for the unworthy or those at least worthy of less, servants, examples etc*

*Valveta glances to the teens and looks them over.* Hm, there might be something there... You wanna go talk to them, or should I?

Sounds fair to me. Have fun with your books, Jaylene! *Valveta smiles to Jaylene, then approaches the teenagers.* Hello there, you all!

The Bibliomancer grins and dashes off toward the non-fiction section, and once she's there just starts..running her hand across the nearest shelf. Slowly, touching one book's spine at a time. If someone sees her doing this and doesn't know why she's doing it, it might look a little strange.
