"I should be able to learn a lot of facts that I never had time to read up on or study in detail before. But..I figure we should be able to find at least a few intelligent people there to join the principality."

"Mhm." She seems to be in thought for a moment as they walk, and then says, "So, you said you're used to being some kind of hero?"

*Valveta nods.* That's right. Y'know, I fight monsters, help people, defend peace and justice... That sort of thing.

"I'm still not used to that sort of thing being a normal occupation. Are you..from here? I mean, in the sense that a lot of people--myself included--entered or appear to have entered this universe from another one."

Good question. I am not originally from here. I came here from an alternate dimension a couple years ago, and kinda settled in.

Jaylene nods. "Where I'm originally from doesn't have magic or any of the rest of this..insanity.

"..Here we are." They've arrived at one of the city's doubtless numerous public libraries, and the Vizier strides on into the doors.

Well, my old world did have plenty of that, so I guess I already had a weird definition of normal when I got here... *Valveta shrugs as she follows Jaylene in.*

*Circe starts off just wandering around the ruins for anything interesting. If she doesn't find anything, she'll start checking the surrounding area for potential recruits.*

The Bibliomancer grins and dashes off toward the non-fiction section, and once she's there just starts..running her hand across the nearest shelf. Slowly, touching one book's spine at a time. If someone sees her doing this and doesn't know why she's doing it, it might look a little strange.
