"Ummm... did they overspend on food, or was that party so much bigger than this one?... What kind of business were they running?"

After finishing his dessert, he gets up, "I'm going to get something to drink, do you need any?" he politely gestures toward Echo, Eebon and Circe.

Echo: I think I'm alright.

Eebon: Sure. I won't say no to a cup of apple juice. I'll answer your question when you get back, if that's alright. Gaw.

"Alright, I'll be right back. " he says, heading over to where drinks were catered, curious what drink he'll get for himself.

*Several maids are already there, including a rather distinctive bluish-gray-haired young woman getting herself some iced tea, but none of them pay him much mind or get in his way.*

Looking around, a lot of familiar but also exotic drinks he never seen or heard of, unable to find apple juice in the whole assortment he taps a finger on the gray-haired lady, "E-excuse me... do you know where they put the apple juice?"

Woman: Hm? Apple juice? Let's see... *scans over the drinks for a few seconds* I don't see any... ...wait, there it is. *reaches behind several bottles and grabs a half-full plastic container full of the juice in question* There we are. It somehow got shoved clear to the back there...

"Ah, thank you very much" taking the plastic container, "I guess, maybe it wasn't one of the more popular drinks here... there a quite a few I have never seen before, cocktails I assume, hehe..."
Taking a glass for the apple-juice then remembering, the felinoid did ask for a cup, not a glass... "Oh well, it works fine in a cup too" he muses, taking a cup meant for tea and pours the apple-juice in that one, might as well be fancy with it~

Woman: *giggles to herself at this* You're welcome. Are you a guest here today?

"Ummm I guess I am..." come to think of it, he wasn't sure if he'd be staying here if he was accepted as an apprentice, a manor this big should have a couple of spare bedrooms, right? "Maybe I'm staying here for a while though... those details still have to be discussed, he..he.."
Trying to decide what drink he'll get himself, maybe just plain water to be safe.

Woman: *smiles softly* Well, in any event, I hope you enjoy your stay. *bows, then steps away and goes about her business, glass of iced tea in hand*

Waving her goodbye, "So many nice people here, and umm cats I guess... nice cats and people here..." he mumbles to himself.
Taking a glass of regular water and the tea cup of apple juice, he heads back towards the table.

Eebon: *accepts the cup of juice* Thanks... *tilts her head curiously* You okay? You seem nervous. Gaw.

"W-what, me nervous? N-no~", taking a sip of his water, "Ermm, maybe a little...sorry"
"I'm just... not really good with meeting new people" he takes a seat again.

Eebon: ... *nods slowly* Yeah, I guess I get that. ... ...Anyway, to answer your earlier question, Mom's boss owns a handful of businesses across a few different worlds. A luxury hotel in one, a restaurant/arcade in this one... *shakes her head* Anyway, she'd been in the area for 10 years, and she felt that warranted a large party with everyone she could find. Gaw.

"Oh, an arcade? That sounds fun." Dan nods and listens, sipping his drink.
