Lady Upton's Antique Shop

*Yvette bows to Lady Upton, then goes back to check on Claire.* Claire? Are you awake?

Claire: *whispers in her sleep* Mind...under attack. Wake me... please!

[Ookalf]

Claire: *whispers in her sleep* Mind...under attack. Wake me... please!

Claire? Claire, wake up. *Yvette walks over to Claire and gently shakes her arm.*

[AmbushCat]

*Grimacing, Claire slowly sits up. There is a black glow in her eyes that steadily lightens and disappears.*

Claire: Tha... thank you, Yvette. The...there was something trying to usurp control of... of me.

[Ookalf]

You're quite welcome. Are you okay now, though?

[AmbushCat]

Claire: I should be... I just n-need to stay awake. Th-that seems to ward off the presence...
*palms her forehead* Could you tell Lady Uptown that I'll b-be back to work as soon as I am a-able to steady myself?

[Ookalf]

Of course. *Yvette curtsies to Claire, then goes back out to Lady Upton.* Claire has woken, ma'am. She says she will join us as soon as she is able.

[Zoei]

Dact wanders in the antique shop! "Awesome..." He heads over to the proprietor. "I'm a collector of strange and unusual artifacts... would you have anything matching that description?"

"Is there anything in particular you are intersted in?

"Seems the girl that was helping me out is gone now."

what were you searching for again?

"Is there anything in particular you are intersted in?

"Well weapons and armor are kind of my favorites... if you happen to have any antiques of those I'd be quite interested."

[Kumi-chan]

"You told me that you didn't have what I seeked. But one of the girls said she would show me around." K responds.

[Stray-chan]

Laura had, in her excitement at getting to show someone around, essentially run off without him. She ended up crashing into a stack of boxes in the back room, knocking them other. Panicking, she set them straight as quick as she could (which took a little while), then ran back out into the main store, blowing past Dact and stopping front of K. She drops a deep curtsy, then another, then another. "I'm terribly, terribly sorry sir! I seem to have gotten too excited and left you behind! Then I saw that a few objects in storage needed, um, organizing, and did that, before I realized you were nowhere to be found!" She's huffing and puffing and still curtsying. "I promise to not get too far ahead this time, sir." She gives one last curtsy, and straightens. "So, you were looking for... what where you looking for? it seems to have slipped my mind."

[Kumi-chan]

"Well at first I was looking for items that can make a women pregnant. Relics and the like." K chuckles at the girl. "But now I am just looking for anything that is interesting."

[Stray-chan]

Laura taps her chin. "Any thing interesting. Hmm... Ah, would you care to see some artefacts from ancient Egypt? I recall seeing a jar of mummy dust, among other things..."

[Kumi-chan]

"Alright then. Could have something interesting indeed." K nods to the girl smiling at her.

[Stray-chan]

Laura grins up at K. "Right this way, sir!" She leads him down an aisle, at the end of which is a selection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including a glass jar full of dust, some scroll cases, a fair amount of golden jewelry and several small golden statues, as well as too large ones of jackals flanking the table.

[Kumi-chan]

K follows Laura along not saying much to her now, as they reach the artifacts he begins looking through them pondering some. "hmm ahh set the god of life and death often times considered the Lucifer of Egypt in modern times. But he isn't he is just a god of something that is needed in this and many other worlds."
