*Claire smiles, visibly relieved, but the door opens before she can comment further. Some vague mumbling can be heard in the hallway.*

*Zapana pokes her head in the room, visibly stressed. Her fur is messed up, and her right ear looks like it's been chewed on.*

Circe? Situation. Have you or anyone else here ever discovered what happens when someone is exposed to every Color energy in Muffinville simultaneously, minus those that would invoke anti-matter?

[Ookalf]

Well, I'd have to say they'd be extremely unstable, both physically and mentally... Why? Does this have something to do with what happened to Callista?

[AmbushCat]

I don't think it's the root cause, but there's no doubt it's related. She was like that when I found her. Is it safe to bring her in here, or...?

[Ookalf]

Into the manor, or into this room specifically? Because if you mean the latter, I think we'd be better off taking her to one of my labs.

*The mumbling from the hallway raises in volume a little bit, then drops again.*

Sure, let's see her... *Circe gets up and joins Zapana in the hall.*

*Callista isn't... well, in the best physical condition. As Zapana said, she's currently (and unsuccessfully) trying to pull the wolf's tail off and mumbling nonsense all the while. She seems unaware of her surroundings for the most part, including the fact that there's a tracking device embedded on her choker.*

...Yeeaahhhh, you see what I mean, right?

Yeah, I see her... How did this happen?

Not sure how she got all colorized like this. By the time I got to her, she absolutely reeked of the stuff, like she'd bathed in the Shards or something.

Callista: *slurred* Nappy Blownaparte, Waterrrloo. Up, left... *gazes in amazement at a perfectly ordinary overhead light*

*while Callista was speaking* And to clarify what I told you before I left, she has no control of her mind at all. There's an entire city's worth of voices in her skull, bickering with each other and trying haphazardly to control her. Our best telepath was able to confirm that much before suffering an aneurysm.

My request for you has nothing to do with them, though. What I'd like to know, Circe-chan, is whether you'd be able to neutralize the Colors or at least transfer them to a clone body.

Yeah, I think I can manage something... Grab her and follow me. *Circe leads them both down the hall, to a lab filled with various pieces of magical and scientific equipment.* Just give me a minute to sort through everything here...

*Zapana complies, standing back and waiting.*

*Meantime, Callista amuses herself by biting the back of Zapana's head (getting no reaction whatsoever), trying to doodle tic-tac-toe boards on an imaginary chalkboard, making Noid-esque laughter, trying to unzip a pouch of kunai without realizing that it's been buttoned shut instead, and murmuring an impromptu advertisement for Travelocity.*
